Meco Omaha Series 1000 Brace Set, Model M2B60

The Meco Omaha Series 1000 Brace Set, Model M2B60, includes two structural channel braces designed to bolt between pairs of Series 1000 uprights, providing lateral stability for your cantilever rack system. Each brace is measured from the centerline of one upright to the centerline of the next, helping ensure a proper fit for compatible rack layouts.

Specifications:
♦  Model number M2B60
♦  Length: 59” measured from the center of the upright to the center of the next upright.
♦  Number of Braces: Set of 2
♦  Uses with 6' to 8' tall uprights.
♦  Weight: 42 pounds
♦  Standard finish is gray. Custom colors are available for an additional cost.
♦  Bracing is shown with optional uprights.

Why Use This Product:
The brace set is used to strengthen and stabilize a Meco Omaha Series 1000 cantilever rack system by connecting upright pairs and helping reduce side-to-side movement. Because brace length is based on centerline-to-centerline upright spacing, selecting the correct model is important for proper installation, fit, and rack performance. Series 1000 uprights, arms, and brace sets are not interchangeable with those from any other rack series; this brace set should only be used with compatible Meco Omaha Series 1000 components.

How It Helps Your Operation:
This brace set helps your operation maintain a safer, more dependable storage system for long, bulky, or irregular materials. Adding lateral support between uprights helps keep the rack structure properly aligned and ready for daily warehouse use. Using the correct brace set also helps simplify installation, reduce compatibility issues, and support efficient material storage in manufacturing, distribution, and warehouse environments.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are MECO Cantilever Series 1000 Structural Brace Sets used for?
MECO Cantilever Series 1000 Structural Brace Sets are used to connect pairs of Series 1000 cantilever uprights. They provide lateral stability for the rack system during storage and handling. These braces help reduce side-to-side movement between uprights. They are used in cantilever rack systems that store long, bulky, or irregular materials. Common applications include pipe, tubing, lumber, bar stock, and industrial supplies.
Why are brace sets important in a cantilever rack system?
Brace sets help keep the rack structure aligned, stable, and properly supported. Without the correct bracing, upright pairs may not perform as intended. This can affect safety, load control, and long-term rack reliability. Braces also help the system handle daily use in warehouse and shop environments. They are an important part of a complete Series 1000 cantilever rack layout.
How do these brace sets help improve facility organization?
The right brace set helps create a stable rack row for organized storage of long material. This allows facilities to move products off the floor and into defined rack positions. Workers can access materials more easily when the rack system stays straight and secure. Better structure also supports cleaner aisles and more predictable material handling. This is useful in warehouses, maintenance areas, tool rooms, and industrial shops.
What should buyers know before ordering Series 1000 brace sets?
Brace length is measured from the centerline of one upright to the centerline of the next upright. This measurement helps ensure the correct fit for the rack layout. Brace sets are sold as complete sets, not as individual pieces. Sets for 6-foot to 8-foot uprights include two braces. Sets for 10-foot to 12-foot uprights include three braces.
Are Series 1000 brace sets compatible with other MECO rack systems?
MECO Series 1000 brace sets are designed only for MECO Series 1000 cantilever rack components. They are not interchangeable with other MECO rack series. Buyers should match Series 1000 uprights, arms, and brace sets together. Using the correct components helps maintain proper fit, stability, and performance. This is especially important when expanding, repairing, or modifying an existing rack system.
