Why Use This Product
Use the MECO Series 1000 inclined arm when storing materials that may shift or roll during handling. The angled design helps guide items back upright on the rack, improving placement and stability. A retaining lip can provide added front-edge control for materials that need extra restraint. Arms without a lip allow faster loading and unloading when materials remain stable. This arm is commonly used for pipe, tubing, bar stock, trim, and bundled materials in medium-duty applications.

How It Helps Your Operation
MECO inclined arms help your operation organize long materials in a clear and accessible layout. Adjustable arm spacing allows workers to adapt storage levels as inventory changes. This can improve space use and reduce clutter on floors or carts. The hairpin keeper enables quick adjustments without tools, saving time during setup changes. The consistent gray finish supports a uniform appearance of the rack system. MECO Series 1000 uprights, arms, and brace sets are compatible only with Series 1000 components and are not interchangeable with any other rack series.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are MECO Series 1000 Cantilever Inclined Arms used for?
MECO Series 1000 Cantilever Inclined Arms are used to support long, bulky, or irregular materials. They are designed for compatible MECO Series 1000 cantilever rack systems. The inclined design helps direct stored materials back toward the rack upright, improving control for items that may shift or roll. Common uses include pipe, tubing, bar stock, trim, and bundled materials.
When should a facility choose inclined cantilever arms?
Inclined cantilever arms are useful when stored materials need added positioning control. They work well for round, cylindrical, or bundled items that may move forward on straight arms. The angled design helps keep materials seated toward the upright, supporting safer storage and easier material handling.
Should buyers choose arms with or without a retaining lip?
Choose arms with a retaining lip when front-edge containment is important, as the lip can help reduce forward movement during storage or handling. Choose arms without a lip for faster loading and unloading, which may be beneficial for materials handled often by forklift or by hand.
What key features should buyers know about these cantilever arms?
MECO Series 1000 Cantilever Inclined Arms adjust on 3-inch centers along the upright, allowing facilities to adjust shelf spacing as material sizes change. The hairpin keeper allows quick changes in arm height without complicated hardware. Arm lengths range from 12 inches to 48 inches with multiple capacity options.
What should buyers confirm before ordering Series 1000 inclined arms?
Buyers should confirm arm length, load capacity, lip preference, and upright compatibility, as these arms are designed only for MECO Series 1000 rack systems. They should also consider material diameter, load weight, and access method to ensure the rack system fits properly and performs as intended.
