The MetroMax-i Open Grid 4-Shelf Polymer Lab Cart is recognized as one of the most robust, versatile, and corrosion-proof shelving systems available. Constructed from advanced polymers with Type 304 stainless steel corners, this all-polymer shelving is engineered for superior durability in demanding lab and industrial environments. Shelves adjust in 1-inch increments and feature removable, easy-to-clean open-grid mats that enhance air circulation and light penetration.

A lifetime warranty backs this cart against rust and corrosion, and built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection helps keep it cleaner between cleanings. A rigid four-sided shelf frame paired with robust stainless steel corners provides complete 360-degree capture of the wedge and post, delivering exceptional stability, strength, and structural integrity.

Two 5" polyurethane swivel casters and two matching casters with brakes come standard, featuring chrome-plated horn stems, axles, and optional brakes suited for dry environments and medium-duty applications. Non-marking polyurethane flat tread, polyethylene hubs, and ball-bearing swivels and axles ensure smooth mobility. Casters are NSF-listed, and bumpers are included to protect against impacts. This caster configuration supports the cart's full 900 lb rated capacity.

Fourteen configurations are available across two widths and seven lengths, all rated at 900 lb capacity.
