The MECO Steel Parts Truck (SPT-Series) has been manufactured by MECO Omaha for over four decades, engineered for reliability, durability, and ease of use in warehouses, factories, and workshops. Two swivel and two rigid casters, welded securely for stability, provide smooth mobility. Choose between 4" rubber casters for quieter operation or 4" steel casters for tougher floor conditions.

The top shelf can be configured with the lip facing up to contain items or down for a flush working surface. Shelf clearance is 23", providing ample room for a range of materials and equipment. A smooth, rounded push handle spans the full width of the truck for ergonomic comfort during operation. Standard shelves use 16-gauge hemmed steel with a 2" deep-formed lip; a heavy-duty option upgrades to 12-gauge hemmed steel with the same reinforced lip design.

Six models are available across three sizes, two caster types, and two shelf gauges.

♦ SPT9R, 20" W x 32"L, 16-gauge shelf. 4" rubber casters. Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same construction as SPT7R at a greater size.

♦ SPT9S, 20" W x 32"L, 16-gauge shelf. 4" steel casters. Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same construction as SPT9R with steel casters.

♦ SPT2436R, 24"W x 36"L, 12-gauge heavy-duty shelf. 4" rubber casters. Capacity 1,000 lbs. Heavier-gauge shelf construction for enhanced durability.

♦ SPT2436S, 24"W x 36"L, 12-gauge heavy-duty shelf. 4" steel casters. Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same heavy-duty specification as SPT2436R with steel casters.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Size: 16"x28", 20"x32", or 24"x36"; select based on the footprint of parts and materials being transported. The 24"x36" model also includes the heavy-duty 12-gauge shelf upgrade.

♦ Shelf gauge: 16-gauge standard or 12-gauge heavy-duty; the heavier 12-gauge shelf offers greater durability and rigidity for demanding daily use.

♦ Caster type, 4" rubber or 4" steel, rubber casters provide quieter operation and are gentler on finished floors. Steel casters hold up better on rough, debris-prone, or industrial floor surfaces.

♦ Top shelf configuration: lip up or lip down. The lip-up configuration helps contain smaller items during transport; lip-down provides a flush surface for sliding larger items on and off the cart.
