Jamco 2-Shelf LT-Series Steel Service Cart with 3" Deep Shelves

The Jamco LT-Series Steel Service Cart features all-welded construction, apart from the casters, for exceptional durability. Twelve-gauge steel shelves with a 3" upturned lip provide secure retention of tools, parts, and supplies during transport, deeper than the standard shelf lip found on most Jamco carts. 3/16" angle corners and 12-gauge caster mounts add structural strength, and a gray powder-coated finish protects against wear.

Capacity depends on the caster type: 5" polyurethane casters rate at 1,200 lbs, 8" semi-pneumatic casters at 2,000 lbs, and 5" thermorubber casters at 800 lbs. A tubular handle with smooth radius bends provides a comfortable, secure grip.

Fifteen configurations are available across five sizes and three caster types.

Selection Guide:

♦ Deep shelf retention: the 3" upturned shelf lip is deeper than the standard lip on most Jamco service carts, providing better containment for loose parts, small components, and irregularly shaped items during transport.

♦ Caster type and capacity: 8" semi-pneumatic casters provide the highest capacity at 2,000 lbs and better shock absorption on uneven floors. 5" polyurethane casters rate at 1,200 lbs with quiet, smooth rolling. 5" thermorubber casters rate at 800 lbs. Select based on the required load capacity first.

♦ Size, from 18"x30" up to 24"x48", select based on the footprint of materials being transported. Not all caster types are available in every size. 

♦ Match capacity to load; confirm the maximum expected load weight before selecting a caster type, since capacity ranges from 800 to 2,000 lbs across the three options.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Small Parts and Loose Component Transport: operations moving loose parts, fasteners, and small components use the 3" deep shelf lip to prevent items from sliding or falling off during transport, making it more effective than a standard shallow lip.

♦ Maintenance and Repair Shop Utility Transport: Maintenance shops and repair facilities moving tools and supplies use the LT-Series for reliable daily transport, with a choice of caster types to match floor conditions and load requirements.

♦ Rough Floor and Uneven Surface Transport, facilities with uneven or rough floor surfaces use the 8" semi-pneumatic caster option for smoother rolling and the highest available capacity at 2,000 lbs.

♦ Warehouse and Distribution Parts Staging: Warehouse and distribution operations stage small parts and components for order fulfillment. Use the deep-lip shelves to keep loose items contained during movement between staging areas.
