Little Giant Extra Heavy-Duty 2-Shelf Steel Utility Cart

The Little Giant Extra Heavy-Duty 2-Shelf Steel Cart is built for extreme load applications where standard utility carts fall short. All-welded construction with flush 12-gauge steel shelves and 2" x 2" corner angle reinforcement supports up to 5,000 lbs, delivering a stable, rigid platform for moving dense materials, heavy equipment, and bulk inventory.

The top shelf is 36" high, with 23" of clearance to the lower shelf, accommodating taller items while maintaining a comfortable loading height. Heavy-duty 8" phenolic kingpinless casters provide reliable rolling performance and reduced maintenance under high-capacity daily use. A durable gray powder-coated finish adds corrosion resistance for long-term service.

Fifteen configurations are available across five sizes and three caster/security tiers: standard casters, floor lock, or combined wheel brake and swivel lock.

Selection Guide:

♦ Caster and security tier, standard (2 swivel + 2 rigid), floor lock (-FL, adds a foot-operated floor lock for stationary positioning), or wheel brake and swivel lock combo (BKPL, 2 swivel casters with wheel brakes plus 2 swivel casters with swivel locks for maximum control). Select based on how frequently the cart needs to be secured in place: a floor lock suits occasional stationary use, while the BKPL tier suits applications requiring both braking and directional locking.

♦ Size, from 24"x36" up to 36"x72", select based on the footprint of materials being transported and available floor and aisle space. The 36" x72" size is the largest in the lineup and is suited for large, dense loads.

♦ 5,000 lb capacity, all fifteen configurations share the same rated capacity regardless of size or caster tier. Select size and caster configuration independently based on footprint and security needs.

♦ Kingpinless casters: the kingpinless design reduces wear points and maintenance requirements compared to standard swivel casters, an advantage in high-cycle heavy-load environments where caster failure would cause downtime.
