New Age Aluminum 3-Step Stock Picking Ladder Truck | Industrial Order Picker

The New Age Aluminum 3-Step Stock Picking Ladder Truck is built to simplify order picking in warehouses and stockrooms. Wheel up, step up, and start picking. The truck combines a flat-top shelf for straightforward loading with a continuous-grip handle that supports the operator on the way up and down.

Extra-wide steps are both welded and bolted for a stable, secure footing at every step. The frame uses a 1 1/2" diameter pipe with 1" diameter pipe handles for a comfortable grip. Four platform-type casters, two swivel and two rigid, provide smooth maneuverability between picking locations.

Construction details include a base built from 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" x .070" wall tubing, uprights from 2" x 2" x .1875" wall angle, and shelves made from .080" aluminum sheet. The truck carries a Lifetime Guarantee against rust and corrosion and a Five-Year Guarantee against workmanship and material defects.  Four configurations are available, all sharing the same 22" x 51.5" x 69.5" footprint.

Models and Specifications:

50060, 22"W x 51.5"L x 69.5"H. Two shelves, 27.375" shelf spacing. Aluminum construction with a lifetime rust and corrosion guarantee.

50061, 22"W x 51.5"L x 69.5"H. Three shelves, 12.56" shelf spacing. Same construction and features as 50060 with an additional shelf and tighter spacing.

99640, 22"W x 51.5"L x 69.5"H. Two shelves, 21-3/4" shelf spacing. Same footprint as 50060 with different shelf spacing.

99555, 22"W x 51.5"L x 69.5"H. Three shelves, 13-1/2" shelf spacing. Same footprint as 50061 with different shelf spacing.

Selecting the Right Model:

Number of shelves, two or three, more shelves provide additional consolidation space during a picking run but reduce the spacing available per shelf. Choose two shelves for larger or bulkier items and three shelves for smaller items picked in higher volume per trip.

Shelf spacing: four models are available with slightly different spacing at each shelf count.

Where Commonly Used:

Warehouse and Distribution Order Picking: Warehouse and distribution operations picking from elevated shelving use a ladder truck to safely reach upper levels without a separate ladder, combining access and item transport in one piece of equipment.

Retail Backroom and Stockroom Restocking: Retail stockroom operations, restocking shelves at height, use the wide, secure steps and continuous grip handle for stable, repeated up-and-down access throughout a shift.

Library and Archive Shelving Access, libraries, archives, and records storage facilities use the aluminum construction and rust resistance for long-term reliability in facilities with less frequent but recurring elevated access needs.

Corrosion-Prone or Washdown Environment: Facilities with moisture exposure or washdown requirements use the aluminum ladder truck for its Lifetime Guarantee against rust and corrosion, avoiding the maintenance issues that steel ladder equipment develops over time in these conditions.
