Autoquip Series 35 Extra Wide Scissor Lift Table

The Autoquip Series 35 Extra Wide is a hydraulic scissor lift table built for facilities that handle loads too wide for a standard-footprint unit. While the standard Series 35 platform tops out at narrower widths, the EW models start at 48" and extend to 61" on the largest platforms. The wider base distributes load more evenly across the scissor mechanism, improving stability when handling oversized pallets, broad assemblies, or loads that cannot be centered on a narrower platform. Capacities cover 2,500 to 15,000 lbs across 19 models. Travel ranges run from 24" on the shortest models up to 60" on the tall-travel S35-060 group.

How to Purchase

Select the travel group first based on the required raised height in your application, then choose the capacity to cover your heaviest expected load.

Travel groups and platform widths:

♦ S35-024-EW series: 48" wide x 36" long platform, 24" of travel (6.5" to 30.5" for most; 7" to 31" for 8,000 lb). Compact travel for standard workstation heights.

♦ S35-036-EW series: 48" wide platform, 36" of travel. Suited for assembly and staging applications requiring mid-range raised height. (Note: verify platform lengths across capacity variants -- see admin note above.)

♦ S35-048-EW series: 48" wide x 64" long platform, 48" of travel (7" to 55" for most; 7.5" to 55.5" for 8,000 lb). For longer loads or applications requiring greater raised height.

♦ S35-058-EW series: 48" wide (standard) or 61" wide x 90" long (12,000 and 15,000 lb models), travel to 70.5". For the heaviest loads requiring a wide, long platform.

♦ S35-060-EW series: 58" wide x 87" long (2,500 to 6,000 lb) or 61" wide x 90" long (8,000 and 10,000 lb), travel to 68" to 72". The tallest travel models in the Extra Wide lineup.

Where Extra Wide Lift Tables Are Commonly Used:

♦ Wide pallet and skid handling: Supporting standard 48" or oversized pallets at working height for loading, unloading, and staging without load overhang or instability.

♦ Fabrication and assembly: Positioning wide weldments, frames, panels, or subassemblies at ergonomic height where a narrow platform would leave the load unsupported at the edges.

♦ Packaging and fulfillment: Raising wide containers, bulk packs, or bundled goods to operator height for labeling, wrapping, and sealing without floor-level handling.

♦ Maintenance and equipment service: Elevating wide machinery bases, equipment frames, or large components for inspection and repair where overhead lifting is not available.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Autoquip Series extra-wide scissor lift table designed for?
The extra-wide scissor lift table is designed to lift and position oversized or wide loads in industrial and warehouse environments. It provides a larger platform surface that improves support for bulky materials, wide pallets, or custom skids. This design helps facilities handle challenging loads more safely and efficiently. It is a reliable solution for operations requiring both heavy-duty lifting and additional platform width.
How does an extra-wide platform improve load handling stability?
A wider platform provides more surface area for supporting large loads, reducing the risk of overhang or imbalance. This improves stability during lifting, lowering, and positioning tasks. Better load support also helps operators work with more confidence, especially when handling awkward or uneven materials. For wide products or oversized pallets, platform width can make a major difference in safety and control.
Where are extra-wide lift tables most commonly used?
These lift tables are often used in manufacturing plants, fabrication shops, distribution centers, and warehouse staging areas. They support tasks such as pallet loading, equipment positioning, and handling large packaged goods. Facilities that handle a wide range of materials or bulky components benefit most from the expanded platform. Anywhere oversized loads need stable vertical lifting, this table fits naturally.
What ergonomic benefits does a wide scissor lift table provide?
By raising loads to a comfortable working height, lift tables reduce bending, reaching, and heavy manual lifting. This supports better posture and helps minimize worker fatigue over repetitive handling cycles. Improved ergonomics also lead to more consistent productivity and fewer strain-related injuries. Wide lift tables add these benefits while also supporting larger work surfaces for complex loads.
What should you consider when choosing a heavy-duty wide lift table?
Start with the size and shape of your loads, and how often lifting will occur throughout the day. Consider available floor space, platform dimensions, and how materials will be loaded on and off the table. Stability requirements are especially important when loads are wide or unevenly distributed. Selecting the right configuration ensures safe handling and long-term performance.
