Strong Hold Heavy Duty Steel Storage Cabinets 4,000 lb Capacity

Strong Hold Heavy Duty Steel Storage Cabinets | 1,000 lb Per Shelf, Ships Assembled
Strong Hold heavy-duty steel storage cabinets are engineered for industrial environments where standard cabinets fall short on load capacity and structural durability. Shelves are rated at 1,000 lb each, with a total cabinet capacity of 4,000 lb across four shelf positions (three adjustable, one fixed). Reinforced steel construction with rigid, formed bends resists racking and structural fatigue during years of daily use under heavy loads.
Security is handled by a 3-point locking system with a heavy-duty cast handle. Cabinets ship fully assembled with shelves secured in place, allowing immediate deployment without setup time. Three widths are available (30", 36", and 48"), two depths (18" and 24"), and the 30" wide models are offered in single-door or double-door configurations. All models are 72" tall.
Models and Specifications:
♦ 2.66-1D-183-P: 30" wide x 18" deep x 72" high. One door. 3 adjustable and 1 fixed shelf. 1,000 lb per shelf.

♦ 2.66-243-P: 30" wide x 24" deep x 72" high. Two doors. 3 adjustable and 1 fixed shelf. 1,000 lb per shelf.
♦ 36-243-P: 36" wide x 24" deep x 72" high. Two doors. 3 adjustable and 1 fixed shelf. 1,000 lb per shelf.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width: The 30" models provide a compact footprint for tight wall sections, narrow bay positions, or areas where a smaller cabinet width is all the space allows. The 36" model adds shelf width for operations that need more surface area per unit. The 48" model (46-243-P) provides the most shelf surface per cabinet and suits applications where fewer, wider cabinets are preferred over a run of narrower ones.
♦ Depth, 18" vs. 24": The 18" depth minimizes front-to-back footprint. The 24" depth accommodates deeper items, larger containers, and equipment that needs more interior shelf space.
♦ Single door vs. double door (30" wide models only): The single-door models (2.66-1D-183-P, 2.66-1D-243-P) suit positions where one side of the cabinet is against a wall and only front access matters. The double-door models open in two halves for wider access to the full interior of the cabinet. For 36" and 48" wide models, two doors are standard.
♦ 4,000 lb total capacity: Four shelves at 1,000 lb each. For operations that store heavy dies, dense tooling, or bulky mechanical components where total cabinet weight is a concern, Strong Hold offers the highest total cabinet load rating on this page.
♦ Ships fully assembled: No assembly required. Place the cabinet, level it if needed, and it is ready to load immediately.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Heavy Die and Tooling Storage: Storing production dies, punches, fixtures, and associated tooling with individual pieces that can weigh hundreds of pounds in a cabinet with the per-shelf capacity to handle the load without deflection or structural concern.
♦ Maintenance and MRO: Organizing and securing a full range of heavy tools, large spare parts, and critical maintenance supplies in a locked cabinet that can handle the full weight of a stocked maintenance kit without shelf sag.
♦ Production Floor Storage: Heavy-capacity locked storage directly at machines or production cells, where tools and components need to be accessible without an extra trip to a central crib, and where the cabinet must support daily heavy use.
♦ Warehouse Heavy Inventory: Storing dense parts, heavy equipment, and high-value inventory in a locked steel cabinet with the structural integrity to handle long-term continuous loading without deformation.
♦ Multi-Shift Environments with Access Control: Where the 3-point locking system and optionally upgraded cylinder or padlock provisions are needed to control access across multiple shifts and maintain tool accountability.
