Hallowell Industrial Wardrobe Cabinets

Hallowell 800 Series Industrial Wardrobe Cabinets
Hallowell 800 Series industrial wardrobe cabinets provide organized, lockable storage for work uniforms, coats, PPE, and personal gear in a heavy-gauge steel enclosure built for high-use industrial and institutional environments. The full-height interior includes a hanging rod for garments and a hat shelf for helmets, boots, and accessories. Multiple color options are available, making these cabinets suitable for facilities that color-code storage by department, shift, or employee group.
The 800 Series ships are knocked down (flat-packed) and are assembled on-site, making delivery and installation easier in facilities where fully assembled cabinets are difficult to move through corridors or elevators. Four models cover two widths (36" and 48") and two depths (18" and 24"), all at 78" high with one shelf.
Models and Specifications:
♦ 835W18, 36" wide x 18" deep x 78" high. Full-height hanging rod. 1 hat shelf. Locking doors. Knocked-down assembly. Multiple color options available.
♦ 835W24, 36" wide x 24" deep x 78" high. Full-height hanging rod. 1 hat shelf. Locking doors. Knocked-down assembly. Multiple color options available.
♦ 845W18, 48" wide x 18" deep x 78" high. Full-height hanging rod. 1 hat shelf. Locking doors. Knocked-down assembly. Multiple color options available.
♦ 845W24, 48" wide x 24" deep x 78" high. Full-height hanging rod. 1 hat shelf. Locking doors. Knocked-down assembly. Multiple color options available.
Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width, 36" vs. 48", the 36"-wide models provide hanging rod length for one to two garments per cabinet. The 48"-wide models provide more lateral hanging space for additional garments or wider items. Choose based on the number of garments each cabinet position needs to accommodate.
♦ Depth, 18" vs. 24", the 18"-deep models minimize front-to-back footprint and suit positions with limited floor space. The 24"-deep models provide more interior room for bulkier garments, outerwear, and PPE that need more depth to hang without compression. Both depths are available at each width.
♦ Knocked-down vs. all-welded assembly, the Hallowell 800 Series ships flat and assembles on site, which simplifies delivery through tight corridors, stairwells, and elevators. The Strong Hold all-welded wardrobe cabinets ship fully assembled and are ready to use immediately on arrival, but require adequate access for a pre-assembled unit. Choose the knocked-down format when assembly access is a constraint. Choose the all-welded format when immediate deployment without assembly labor is the priority.
♦ Color options: the 800 Series is available in multiple colors. Contact CustomMHS to confirm the currently available colors for color-coding applications by department, role, or shift.
♦ Single shelf configuration: all four models include one hat shelf. This is appropriate for a full-width wardrobe without a separate shelving section. If additional shelf positions are needed alongside wardrobe storage, the Hallowell combination cabinet or a Strong Hold combination format provides both wardrobe and multi-shelf storage in a single unit.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Manufacturing Plant Changing Areas, production workers who change into issued uniforms at the start of the shift and store street clothes and personal items in a locked wardrobe cabinet at their position or in a designated changing area.
♦ Government and Institutional Facilities, government agencies, utilities, and institutional facilities with specific purchasing requirements and color-code or departmental storage programs use the 800 Series for its combination of industrial-grade construction and color flexibility.
♦ Maintenance and Facilities Departments, maintenance workers who store issued coveralls, safety vests, and chemical-resistant gear in a dedicated locked wardrobe cabinet at their primary work area, keep their PPE organized and protected between shifts.
♦ Multi-Department Facilities with Color-Coded Storage: Facilities assigning specific cabinet colors to different departments, shifts, or employee roles use the available color options to visually identify storage assignments without requiring labels on every cabinet.
♦ Space-Constrained Installations, buildings with narrow corridors, elevator restrictions, or stairwell limitations that prevent delivery of fully assembled cabinets, benefit from the knocked-down format that ships flat and assembles at the installation location.
