Pucel Industrial Wardrobe Storage Cabinets

Pucel industrial wardrobe storage cabinets are all-welded 12-gauge steel combination cabinets that pair a wardrobe section with a shelving or drawer section in a single locked unit. The wardrobe side includes a top shelf, coat rod, and divider for hanging coats, uniforms, and PPE. The opposite side provides organized storage in one of three configurations: shelves only, shelves with 3 drawers, or shelves with 4 drawers. A keyed locking handle secures both sides. All models are 24" deep and 72" tall, and ship fully assembled.

Three widths are available (36", 48", and 60"), but not all configurations are offered in all widths. The shelf-only model is available only at 36" wide. The 3-drawer and 4-drawer models are available at all three widths.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Shelf-only vs. drawer configurations: The WSC-3672-24 (36"-wide, shelf-only) suits applications where the storage side holds larger items, bins, and supplies that are better on open shelves than in drawers. The drawer configurations (3D and 4D) suit applications where smaller tools, parts, and supplies need organized, compartmentalized storage in addition to the wardrobe section. Adding drawers reduces the shelf count from 4 to 3.

♦ 3 drawers vs. 4 drawers: The 4-drawer configuration provides one additional drawer compared to the 3-drawer configuration in the same cabinet dimensions. This may be appropriate when more small-item compartmentalization is needed, and shelf space can be reduced accordingly. Verify drawer capacity with Pucel before selecting if heavy tooling will be stored in the drawers.

♦ Width: Wider models provide more lateral space in both the wardrobe section (longer coat rod, more hanging capacity) and the storage section (wider shelves and drawers). The 36"-wide models suit standard single-person storage positions or tight wall sections. The 48"-wide and 60"-wide models accommodate a larger wardrobe inventory or wider storage needs per position.

♦ 12-gauge all-welded construction: Heavier than the Parent Metal combination cabinet construction and more suitable for demanding industrial environments where the cabinet will be opened frequently and loaded heavily. The all-welded frame maintains door alignment and locking performance through daily heavy use.

♦ Keyed locking handle: A single keyed handle secures both sections simultaneously. This differs from the Parent Metal 3-point locking bar system, which engages the door at three points.

♦ Maintenance Technician Stations: A single cabinet holding a technician's work jacket or coveralls on the coat rod alongside the organized drawers and shelves they need for daily tool and supply access, without requiring a separate locker room assignment.

♦ Skilled Trades and Apprentice Programs: Trades workers issued both uniforms and a tool set keep all of it in one assigned cabinet, with the drawer section keeping tools organized by type and the wardrobe section keeping issued garments off the floor and off the bench.

♦ Industrial Service and Fleet Operations: Service technicians who work across multiple machines or vehicles store their issued coveralls and safety vests in the wardrobe section and their daily-use tools in the drawer section, with a single locked cabinet covering both categories.

♦ Production and Line Workers with Issued PPE: Operators issued smocks, high-visibility vests, hard hats, or other PPE store their gear in the wardrobe section and keep position-specific tools or consumables in the drawer and shelf section at the workstation where both are used.

♦ Multi-Shift Environments with Shared Cabinets: Where a cabinet is shared across shifts, the wardrobe section holds shift-specific PPE (with each shift responsible for removing its gear) while the shelf and drawer section holds shared tools and supplies that remain in the cabinet between shifts.
