Rousseau 54" R-Series modular drawer cabinets are extra-wide, heavy-duty storage cabinets designed for operations where standard cabinet widths require splitting oversized tooling, large fixture sets, or complete kits across multiple drawers or multiple cabinets. At 54" wide with 400 lb drawer capacity and full-extension slides, these cabinets allow oversized tools and assemblies to be stored flat, full kits to be kept together in a single drawer position, and large inventories to be consolidated into fewer units. Cabinets are manufactured in North America.

All models are 54" wide. Two depths are available 24" (R5AJE series) and 27" (R5AJG series) across heights from 36" to 60". Drawer configurations range from 5 to 8 drawers with drawer heights from 3" to 12". Most configurations are available with or without partitions. The 46" height models include a roll-out shelf option alongside the drawer configuration.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Depth: 24" (R5AJE) vs. 27" (R5AJG): The 24" depth suits standard floor positions. The 27" depth provides additional interior clearance for longer tools and larger storage trays. Both depths share nearly identical drawer configurations and heights across the lineup.

♦ Cabinet height: The 36" and 40" heights suit workbench-height use or as lower base units in a modular system. The 46" height adds drawer count while remaining under most ceiling-clearance thresholds and includes the roll-out shelf option. The 60" models provide the highest drawer count per footprint in this series.

♦ Drawer configuration: Mid-depth drawers (4" to 6" tall) suit large hand tools, gauges, and standard-size parts. Deeper drawers (8" to 12" tall) accommodate heavy or bulky tooling, oversized fixture components, and large stacked trays. The 60" models combine 4" and 10" drawers for a mixed inventory in a single unit.

♦ Roll-out shelf: The 46" models (R5AJE-4401/4402 and R5AJG-4401/4402) include a roll-out shelf alongside five drawers, providing an integrated pull-out work surface at a width of 54". Suited to operations where a flat staging surface adjacent to large tool storage improves workflow.

♦ Partitions: Models marked "Yes" include drawer divider partitions. Models marked "No" have open drawer interiors.
