Rousseau 36" R-Series Modular Drawer Cabinets | 400 lb Full-Extension Drawers

Rousseau 36" R-Series modular drawer cabinets are the widest standard width in the R-Series lineup, providing maximum drawer interior space for large tools, long components, and high-volume parts storage in manufacturing, maintenance, fabrication, fleet, and tool crib environments. Each drawer is rated at 400 lb capacity with full-extension slides. Cabinets are manufactured in North America.

All models are 36" wide. Two depths are available 18" (R5AEC series) and 24" (R5AEE series) across cabinet heights from 30" to 60". Drawer configurations range from 2 to 14 drawers per cabinet with drawer heights from 3" to 14". Most configurations are available with or without partitions. Select 60" models include a roll-out shelf in place of one drawer level. Several models include a lower door section for enclosed bulk storage.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Depth: 18" (R5AEC) vs. 24" (R5AEE): The 18" depth suits tighter aisle or workbench positions and lower-clearance environments. The 24" depth provides more drawer interior space for longer tools, larger fixtures, and items requiring additional front-to-back clearance. Both depths are 36" wide and share the same height and drawer configuration options across most of the lineup.

♦ Cabinet height: The 30" range suits workbench-height standalone use. The 32" height adds drawer positions while remaining under standard workbench height. The 40" and 46" heights deliver substantial drawer count in a full-height floor unit. The 60" models provide the highest drawer density per footprint, supporting up to 14 drawers in the deepest configurations.

♦ Drawer configuration: Shallow drawers (3" to 6" tall) suit small parts, fasteners, cutting tools, and gauges organized by type or size. Mid-depth drawers (7" to 10" tall) accommodate hand tools, meters, and boxed components. Deep drawers (12" to 14" tall) handle heavy or bulky items, large fixture sets, or stacked trays. Mixed configurations accommodate varied inventory in a single cabinet.

♦ Roll-out shelf: Select 60" models include a roll-out shelf providing an integrated pull-out work surface within the cabinet footprint. Useful in tool crib and inspection environments where a flat surface adjacent to the stored inventory improves workflow without requiring a separate workbench.

♦ Partitions: Models marked "Yes" include drawer divider partitions. Models marked "No" have open drawer interiors. Verify partition compatibility with the intended inventory before selecting a no-partition model if subdivided storage is needed.

♦ Door section: Select models include a lower door section for enclosed bulk storage of larger items that do not fit in standard drawers.
