Strong Hold Janitorial Supply Storage Cabinets are purpose-built broom closets in all-welded 12-gauge steel. The interior is split between two functions: one side provides full-height open space for brooms, mops, and other long-handled tools to stand upright, and the other side is outfitted with 14-gauge adjustable shelves on 2" centers for cleaning chemicals, paper products, brushes, and supplies. The shelves on the supply side are removable, allowing that section to accommodate large buckets, floor scrubbers, and other bulky items that don't fit between standard shelf positions.

Double doors provide full-width access to both sections. Welded 6" 7-gauge legs provide stability and forklift clearance for repositioning. All models are 24" deep. Four widths (36", 48", 60", 72") and two heights (66" and 78") make up the seven-model lineup, with shelf capacity varying by width.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Width and shelf capacity: the supply side holds 1,150 pounds per shelf at 36" wide, 700 pounds at 48" wide, 975 pounds at 60" wide, and 850 pounds at 72" wide. Choose a width based on the amount of hanging tool space needed for the long-handle section and the lateral shelf space required for the supply section.

♦ Height, 66" vs. 78", the 66"-high models include 3 shelves in the supply section. The 78"-high models include 4 shelves, providing one additional shelf position for more organized small-item storage. The 66" height suits positions with lower overhead clearance or under-window installations where full height is not practical.

♦ Removable shelves for large items: the shelves in the supply section can be removed entirely to create an open floor area for large buckets, wet-dry vacuums, floor scrubbing machines, or other bulky cleaning equipment that won't fit on standard shelves. This reconfigurability makes the cabinet functional for a range of janitorial setups without requiring a custom solution.

♦ Long-handle section width: the portion of the interior dedicated to brooms, mops, and tool storage is part of the overall cabinet width. Wider cabinets provide more lateral space in the hanging section, allowing more tools to be organized side by side. In the 36"-wide model, the long-handle section is narrower than in the 72"-wide model. Verify the approximate section width with Strong Hold if a specific number of long-handled tools must be stored without crowding.

♦ 6" welded legs; the leg clearance allows a forklift or pallet jack to reposition the cabinet during facility layout changes or cleaning. This is the same 7-gauge leg specification used across the Strong Hold floor cabinet lineup.

♦ Double doors, full-width double doors open to provide unobstructed access to both sections simultaneously. This matters when retrieving long-handled tools that extend the full height of the cabinet, as a single door would obstruct access to the hanging section.
