Strong Hold Counter Top Bin Cabinet

Strong Hold Countertop Bin Door Storage

Strong Hold Countertop Bin Storage Cabinets | Hopper Bins, Door Bins, 2 Adjustable Shelves

Strong Hold countertop bin storage cabinets bring the bin organization and 12-gauge all-welded construction of the floor-standing Strong Hold bin series to a counter-height format. At 36" or 42" high, these cabinets fit on or alongside workbenches and counters, position bin storage at ergonomic reach height, and keep the work surface at the same level as the cabinet top for a continuous work area. Two heights, two widths, and two depths make up the six-model lineup.

Inside, removable yellow polypropylene hopper bins with label holders organize small parts on two adjustable 14-gauge shelves. Bins mounted inside the cabinet doors keep the most frequently used items at the front, where they are immediately accessible when the doors open. The 3-point locking system includes a padlock hasp.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Height, 36" vs. 42", the 36"-high models suit positions directly on a standard 34" to 36" workbench top, where the bin cabinet sits on the bench surface and raises the bin rows to a comfortable standing access height. The 42"-high models suit floor-level positions alongside a bench where the cabinet top approaches workbench height, or positions where the additional height brings the upper bin row to a more accessible level. Choose based on whether the cabinet will sit on a surface or directly on the floor.

♦ Width and shelf capacity: the 36"-wide models carry 1,900 pounds per shelf, the highest capacity in this lineup and consistent with other 36"-wide Strong Hold cabinets. The 48" wide models carry 1,200 pounds per shelf and provide more lateral bin space for a larger parts inventory across the two shelf rows.

♦ Depth, 20" vs. 24", the 20"-deep models are only available in 36" wide and minimize front-to-back footprint on a crowded bench surface. The 24"-deep models are available in both 36" and 48" wide and provide deeper shelf and bin space for larger bins or items that need more front-to-back room. No 20"-deep option is available in 48" wide.

♦ Door-mounted bins, the bins on the inside of the doors, provide immediate access to the most frequently used parts without reaching the shelves. Reserve the door bin positions for the highest-velocity items in the parts inventory, the items pulled most often during a shift.

♦ Countertop bin cabinet vs. floor-standing bin cabinets: the floor-standing 4-shelf and 3-shelf bin cabinets are 78" high and designed for floor-level installations where maximum shelf capacity and bin count are the priority. The countertop models are for workbench-height installations where bench-level access and a compact footprint are more important than total bin count. Choose the countertop format when the cabinet sits on or beside a bench. Choose the floor-standing format when a full-height floor cabinet is the installation context.

♦ Anchoring recommendation: Strong Hold recommends anchoring to a wall or floor for stability under heavy loads. Plan the installation position accordingly.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Workbench Small-Parts Stations, machinists, assemblers, and maintenance workers who keep their complete small-parts inventory at bench height in a locked bin cabinet at their primary work position, with the door bins holding the most-used fasteners and consumables within immediate reach.

♦ Under-Counter Installations, the 42"-high floor-level models fit under or alongside standard workbenches where a floor-standing full-height cabinet would not fit, keeping bin storage at an ergonomic access height in a compact footprint.

♦ Assembly Line Bench-Top Positions: assembly operators who need bin storage at bench-top level for components used in each production run keep the full parts set organized and locked in the bin cabinet on the bench, accessing bins without leaving the work position.

♦ Tool Crib Counter-Level Parts Dispensing, tool crib windows and counters where crib attendants dispense small parts to workers, benefiting from a bin cabinet at counter height that keeps the complete parts inventory organized, labeled, and quickly accessible without searching open shelves or loose containers.

♦ Quality Control Bench Positions, QC technicians who need organized access to reference hardware, gauges, and precision measurement consumables at bench height benefit from the bin and shelf combination in a locked counter-height format that keeps all reference materials within reach of the inspection work surface.
