Strong Hold Heavy Duty 4-Drawer Storage Cabinet

Strong Hold Bin-Drawer Storage Cabinets | 4 Drawers, Removable Yellow Polypropylene Bins
Strong Hold bin-drawer storage cabinets combine the structural integrity of a 12-gauge all-welded steel cabinet with an organized small-parts bin system built into the drawers. Each of the four drawers contains removable yellow polypropylene bins that keep fasteners, hardware, components, and consumables sorted by type and immediately accessible. The 36"-wide model holds 110 bins; the 48"-wide model holds 164 bins. Ball-bearing slides provide smooth operation under load even when drawers are fully stocked.
The drawer heights are sized for the bin format: two shallow drawers for small bins, one medium drawer, and one deeper drawer for larger bins. An adjustable shelf provides additional bulk storage above or alongside the drawer section. The 3-point locking system with padlock hasp, 8-gauge hinges, and cast aluminum bronze alloy handle are consistent with the premium hardware tier used across the Strong Hold lineup. Ships fully assembled.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width and bin count: the 36"-wide model holds 110 bins across 4 drawers. The 48"-wide model holds 164 bins and 54 additional bin positions across the same 4-drawer format. Choose the wider model when a larger parts inventory requires more individual compartments within the locked cabinet footprint.
♦ Bin-drawer vs. standard drawer cabinet: The standard Strong Hold drawer cabinets use open drawers with no bin system, suited to larger tools and parts that don't benefit from individual bin compartments. The bin-drawer format is the appropriate selection when the primary storage need is organized small-parts bins, fasteners, fittings, electrical components, small hardware, and consumables, where individual bin compartments prevent commingling and speed up picking.
♦ Removable bins for flexibility: the polypropylene bins are removable from the drawers individually. This allows a specific bin to be taken to the point of use without opening the entire drawer and allows the bin layout within each drawer to be reconfigured as the mix of stored parts changes.
♦ Ball bearing slides, the ball bearing slides allow the drawers to open and close smoothly under full bin load. This matters on a bin cabinet where the drawer may be opened and closed many times per shift and where bin weight can accumulate quickly when hardware is densely packed.
♦ 3-point locking with padlock hasp, the same locking specification as the standard Strong Hold drawer and floor cabinets. A separately keyed padlock can be added for dual-lock access control where small-parts security or inventory accountability is required.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Maintenance Parts and Hardware Cribs, maintenance departments storing fasteners, fittings, electrical components, pneumatic hardware, and other small items in individual bins within a single locked cabinet benefit from the organization and access control the bin-drawer format provides -- everything visible and labeled in its own compartment, secured behind a single lock.
♦ Assembly and Production Line Small-Parts Stations: assembly workers who need organized access to a wide variety of small components during production keep the full range sorted by bin in the locked drawer, pulling from individual bins rather than from loose parts containers that mix and fall.
♦ Tool Crib Small-Parts Inventory, tool crib operations storing small tooling, inserts, cutting tools, and consumables in individual bins benefit from the locked cabinet format that provides accountability and controlled access to the parts inventory.
♦ Electrical and Instrumentation Departments, electricians and instrument technicians storing connectors, terminals, fuses, relays, and small instrumentation components by type in individual bins have every component immediately identifiable without searching through generic parts bins.
♦ Facility Maintenance and Custodial Supply Stations, facilities storing small consumable supplies -- screws, clips, brackets, cartridges, and similar items in organized bins for rapid retrieval during maintenance rounds, benefit from the locked, organized bin system at the point of use.
