Strong Hold Plus Single Shift Industrial Storage Cabinet

Strong Hold Plus Single Shift Industrial Storage Cabinet: Reliable Steel Storage for Everyday Industrial Use
Strong Hold Plus Single Shift storage cabinets offer something no other welded cabinet in this lineup includes: built-in organizational tools designed to make order easy to establish and maintain. Each cabinet ships with shelf dividers to keep items separated, shelf labels to identify every position, an exterior cabinet identification label so the cabinet's purpose is visible from across the room, and an interior dry-erase board for shift notes, inventory tracking, and communication tied directly to the cabinet's contents.
The cabinet body is 12-gauge steel, ships fully assembled, and is rated at up to 1,900 pounds per shelf on the 36" wide models. At 72" nominal height (78" overall assembly height including the welded leg base), these are full floor-standing cabinets sized for wall runs and point-of-use positions. Four widths are available: 36", 48", 60", and 72".
The "Single Shift" designation positions this cabinet for operations in which one team or shift has primary responsibility for a storage area, and built-in labeling and communication tools directly support that team's daily accountability and organization.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width and shelf capacity: Shelf capacity varies by width. The 36" wide models carry the highest per-shelf rating at 1,900 pounds. The 48" wide model drops to 1,200 pounds per shelf, which is the lowest in the Strong Hold cabinet lineup on this site. The 60" wide model is rated at 1,650 pounds and the 72" wide model at 1,525 pounds. Select the width based on both the required lateral shelf space and the anticipated maximum per-shelf load.
♦ Depth, 20" vs. 24": The 20" depth is available only on the CAB000001 (36" wide). All other models are 24" deep. The 20" depth suits positions where front-to-back footprint is constrained.
♦ Overall assembly height, 78" OAH: The nominal interior height is 72", but the welded leg base brings the overall assembly height to 78". Verify overhead clearance at the installation location before ordering, particularly in areas with sprinkler heads, ductwork, or low overhead obstructions within the 78" range.
♦ Built-in organizational features: The shelf dividers, labels, cabinet ID label, and dry-erase board are included with every model and are not optional add-ons. These features make the Plus series the appropriate selection when accountability, consistent organization, and shift-level communication are priorities, rather than just high load capacity.
♦ Dry-erase board placement: The interior dry-erase board is accessible when the door is open, keeping notes and inventory information physically tied to the cabinet rather than on a separate clipboard or whiteboard that can be misplaced.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Single-Shift Maintenance Crews: A defined team responsible for their own tools and supplies benefits from a cabinet where every position is labeled, items are diverted by dividers, and shift notes can be left inside for incoming workers without relying on a separate communication system.
♦ Point-of-Use Tool and Supply Storage: Positioning a fully labeled cabinet directly at a machine, line section, or work cell where the same tools are used each shift reduces retrieval time and supports consistent return of items to their correct location.
♦ Inventory-Tracked Supply Stations: The dry-erase board allows workers to mark what was used and what needs to be restocked, giving supervisors or supply personnel a quick visual reference without a separate inventory system for routine consumables.
♦ Toolroom and Tool Crib Issuing: A cabinet with every shelf position labeled and divided by type supports controlled tool issuing and returns, reducing the sorting and reorganization that follows from unstructured tool storage across multiple shifts.
♦ Training and Standardization Programs: Facilities implementing 5S, lean, or similar workplace organization programs will find that the built-in labels and dividers directly support visual management standards without requiring custom fabrication of shadow boards or label systems.
