Strong Hold Ventilated Divider Cabinet

Strong Hold Ventilated Divider Cabinet

Strong Hold Ventilated Divider Storage Cabinets

Strong Hold ventilated divider storage cabinets add a lateral organization layer to the ventilated cabinet format. The interior includes two slotted adjustable shelves fitted with vertical dividers that separate stored items into individual cells across the shelf width, preventing items from tipping, commingling, or sliding laterally. Below the two divider shelves is a standard adjustable shelf for larger items that don't fit in the divided sections. Perforated doors allow airflow through the entire cabinet. Additional shelves can be added to increase the number of storage positions.

The 12-gauge all-welded construction, 3-point locking with padlock hasp, and 6" 7-gauge welded legs are consistent with the full Strong Hold cabinet lineup. All three models are 72" high nominal (78" OAH with legs) and 24" deep. Width varies: 48", 60", and 72", with divider count increasing with cabinet width.

Models and Specifications:

♦ 46-V-241-2APH-8VD, 48" wide x 24" deep x 72" high (78" OAH). 2 slotted shelves with 8 vertical dividers. 1 standard adjustable shelf below. Perforated doors. 3-point locking with padlock hasp. 6" welded legs.

♦ 56-V-241-2APH-10VD, 60" wide x 24" deep x 72" high (78" OAH). 2 slotted shelves with 10 vertical dividers. 1 standard adjustable shelf below. Perforated doors. 3-point locking with padlock hasp. 6" welded legs.

♦ 66-V-241-2APH-12VD, 72" wide x 24" deep x 72" high (78" OAH). 2 slotted shelves with 12 vertical dividers. 1 standard adjustable shelf below. Perforated doors. 3-point locking with padlock hasp. 6" welded legs.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:

♦ Width and divider count: the 48"-wide model includes 8 vertical dividers across the two slotted shelves, the 60"-wide includes 10, and the 72"-wide includes 12. More dividers create more individual cells across the shelf width, allowing more item categories to be separated side by side. Choose a width based on the number of distinct item categories to be organized laterally across the shelves and the available floor footprint at the installation position.

♦ Divider shelves vs. standard adjustable shelf: the two slotted shelves with vertical dividers are optimized for upright items of similar height stored in organized rows -- spray cans, bottles, tubes, rolled materials, or smaller parts and tools that benefit from being held in individual cells. The standard shelf below the dividers handles items that don't suit the divided format: flat components, stacked supplies, larger equipment, or items that need more shelf depth without lateral constraints.

♦ Ventilated divider vs. standard ventilated (VBS series): the standard VBS ventilated cabinet provides fully adjustable shelves throughout with no dividers, suited to general-purpose ventilated storage at higher per-shelf capacity. This divider cabinet trades adjustability on the upper two shelves for the lateral organization the dividers provide. Choose the divider cabinet when categorized upright storage of multiple item types is the primary need. Choose the standard VBS for maximum load flexibility across all shelf positions.

♦ Additional shelves: The body copy confirms that additional shelves can be added to the cabinet. Verify with Strong Hold which shelf accessories are compatible and whether the standard VBS shelf accessory or a separate divider-format shelf is required.

♦ 3-point locking with padlock hasp, consistent with the full Strong Hold floor cabinet lineup. A separately keyed padlock can be added for dual-lock access control.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Maintenance and MRO Chemical Supply Storage, aerosol lubricants, spray cleaners, penetrating oils, and similar upright containers that need to be organized by type, accessible quickly, stored in a ventilated enclosure, and secured between uses benefit from the divider cells on the slotted shelves, with the perforated doors providing airflow and the lock controlling access.

♦ PPE Dispensing and Supply Stations, gloves, safety glasses, earplugs, and other small PPE items stored in individual divider cells can be identified and retrieved quickly without searching through a mixed shelf. The ventilated cabinet keeps PPE aired out between uses.

♦ Tool and Parts Organization at Production Positions, production positions that store a specific set of tools or parts by category -- each type in its own divider cell on the slotted shelf -- benefit from the visual organization and separation the dividers enforce, reducing the time workers spend locating items during the shift.

♦ Regulated Chemical and Sample Storage: Laboratories and regulated facilities storing multiple chemical types or samples in upright containers benefit from the lateral separation the dividers enforce, keeping contents physically separated and identifiable without opening individual containers.

♦ Shared Supply Areas with Multiple Users, multi-user storage positions where each divider cell is assigned to a specific item type or individual user, reduce the commingling and disorganization that occurs on open shelves when multiple people access the same cabinet throughout the shift.
