Strong Hold Wardrobe Storage Cabinet

Strong Hold Wardrobe Storage Cabinets | Full-Width Hanging Rod, 12-Gauge All-Welded Steel
Strong Hold wardrobe storage cabinets provide a full-width hanging rod for coats, coveralls, uniforms, and PPE, along with a single heavy-duty adjustable shelf at 14-gauge for helmets, boots, chains, and heavy gear, all in the same 12-gauge, all-welded steel enclosure and premium hardware spec as the Strong Hold floor cabinet lineup. The shelf height adjusts to suit the items stored above the hanging area. The shelf is 21.5" deep.
Three widths are available (36", 48", 60") in two heights (66" and 78" nominal, or 72" and 84" OAH with 6" 7-gauge welded legs). All models are 24" deep, ship fully assembled, and include a 3-point locking system with a padlock hasp. Shelf capacity varies by width: 1,900 pounds per shelf at 36" wide, 1,200 pounds at 48" wide, and 1,650 pounds at 60" wide.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width and shelf capacity, the 36"-wide model carries 1,900 pounds per shelf -- the highest in this lineup and consistent with the 36"-wide capacity across the Strong Hold floor cabinet series. The 48"-wide models carry 1,200 pounds per shelf. The 60"-wide models carry 1,650 pounds per shelf. Choose a width based on the amount of lateral hanging rod space needed and the expected load on the shelf above.
♦ Height, 66" vs. 78" nominal, the 66"-high models (72" OAH with legs) provide a shorter hanging zone below the shelf -- appropriate for shorter garments, PPE, and equipment that doesn't require full-height clearance. The 78"-high models (84" OAH) provide a longer hanging zone for full-length coveralls, rain gear, and longer outerwear. Both heights are available at 48" and 60" wide. Only the 78"-high model is available at 36" wide.
♦ Adjustable shelf height: the shelf position can be adjusted to raise or lower the hanging zone below. Lower the shelf for longer garments requiring more vertical hanging clearance. Raise the shelf to increase storage space for items above while reducing the hanging zone. The 21.5" shelf depth accommodates helmets, boots, gloves, and most PPE items without overhanging.
♦ 6" welded legs and forklift mobility: the 6" 7-gauge welded legs raise the cabinet 6" above the floor, allowing a pallet truck or forklift to move the loaded cabinet without unloading it first. This makes the Strong Hold wardrobe suitable for facilities where storage positions change periodically.
♦ Strong Hold vs. Parent Metal wardrobe: The Strong Hold wardrobe uses 12-gauge all-welded construction with 6" welded legs, carries up to 1,900 pounds per shelf, and is priced at the premium tier. The Parent Metal wardrobe uses full-height piano hinges and 3-point locking bars without legs, carries up to 400 pounds per shelf, and is priced significantly lower. Choose the Strong Hold for the highest construction spec, forklift mobility, and heavy shelf capacity. Choose the Parent Metal for a mid-tier all-welded wardrobe at a lower price.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Industrial Maintenance Departments, maintenance technicians who store issued coveralls, arc flash gear, chemical-resistant suits, and safety vests in a single locked wardrobe at their work position, with heavy PPE and spare garments on the shelf above the hanging zone.
♦ Production Floor PPE Stations: Operators who don specific PPE at their work position keep it in a locked wardrobe cabinet that ensures gear is stored correctly, protected from contamination, and in the designated position when the next shift arrives.
♦ Fleet and Vehicle Service Shops, service technicians who store shop coats, coveralls, and issued uniforms in the hanging section alongside heavy tool bags, specialty equipment, and field kits on the heavy-capacity shelf.
♦ Multi-Shift Operations, two-shift environments where one user's gear occupies the hanging zone, and the shelf holds shared or department-level items that both shifts access, locked under a single 3-point system with the option for a padlock for dual-access control.
♦ Forklift-Repositionable Wardrobe Positions, facilities that periodically rearrange production or maintenance areas use the 6" welded legs to reposition loaded wardrobe cabinets without requiring workers to empty them first.
