Rousseau CNC Tool Storage Cabinet | Lockable Doors, Five Toolholder Types

The Rousseau CNC tool storage cabinet provides enclosed, lockable storage for CNC toolholders in machine shop environments. Unlike the Rousseau CNC tool drawer shelving unit, which is open access, the cabinet includes doors that can be locked to restrict access to the toolholder inventory. PVC tool racks hold each toolholder in an individual position at an angle to minimize contact between adjacent tools, protect taper surfaces, and facilitate coolant drainage. The PVC material resists corrosion, impacts, and spatter from molten metal.

Five toolholder interface types are available: Taper-40, Taper-50, HSK-50, HSK-63, KM-50, and KM-63. All cabinets are 60" high. Two widths: 30" wide x 27" deep and 36" wide x 24" deep. Tool capacity ranges from 60 to 144 tools per cabinet, depending on toolholder type and cabinet width.

Selection Guide:

♦ Toolholder interface type: Each cabinet model is configured for one specific toolholder standard. Select the model that matches the toolholder interface used on your CNC machines. Taper-40 and Taper-50 suit V-flange (BT/CAT) toolholders. HSK-50 and HSK-63 suit hollow-shank taper toolholders. KM-50 and KM-63 are suitable for Kennametal KM quick-change toolholders.

♦ Cabinet width and depth, the 30" wide cabinet is 27" deep to accommodate the tool rack geometry at that width. The 36" wide cabinet is 24" deep. Both are 60" high. Choose 30" wide when floor space or aisle width limits the installation footprint. Choose 36" wide when maximizing tool count per cabinet is the priority.

♦ Tool capacity by type and size, Taper-40: 84 tools (30" wide), 96 tools (36" wide). Taper-50: 60 tools (30" wide), 72 tools (36" wide). HSK-50: 120 tools (30" wide), 144 tools (36" wide). HSK-63: 84 tools (30" wide), 96 tools (36" wide). KM-50: 120 tools (30" wide), 144 tools (36" wide). KM-63: 84 tools (30" wide), 96 tools (36" wide). HSK-50 and KM-50 provide the highest per-cabinet capacity due to the smaller physical footprint of the 50-size toolholders.
