Rousseau Modular Drawer Shelving | 36" Wide x 18" Deep, Five Drawer Configurations

Rousseau 36" wide x 18" deep modular drawer shelving units combine heavy-duty steel construction with 400-pound-capacity drawers on full-extension precision slides for organized, high-capacity tool and parts storage in a compact footprint. The 18" depth keeps the unit positioned close to the wall without sacrificing drawer volume. Five pre-configured drawer layout options cover the most common industrial and shop storage requirements, with both 75" and 87" height options available in each configuration.

Selecting the Right Configuration:

♦ Drawer height mix, the five pre-configured layouts cover different combinations of 3", 4", and 6" drawer heights. Shallower 3" and 4" drawers suit flat tooling, insert trays, gauges, shims, and small parts where height efficiency is important. The 6" drawers accommodate taller parts, fittings, and components that don't fit in shallow drawers. The mixed configurations (e.g., 3 x 4" + 4 x 6") provide both in the same unit for facilities storing a wide variety of item heights.

♦ Roll-out shelf option (R5SEC-754809 and R5SEC-874809), these configurations include (2) 3" drawers, (3) 4" drawers, (2) 6" drawers, and one roll-out shelf. The roll-out shelf slides out on its own rails, providing a work surface at shelf level that can support larger items or serve as a staging area within the storage unit. This is a combination of a drawer and a roll-out work surface configuration, not a pure drawer unit.

♦ Height, 75" vs. 87", both heights are available for all five drawer configurations. The 87" height provides more vertical space for additional drawer combinations in a custom configuration, or simply more clearance above the unit in the installation space. Choose 75" when ceiling or mezzanine clearance limits height. Choose 87" when maximum drawer capacity per unit is the priority.

♦ Starter vs. add-on units: Each configuration is available as a starter unit (standalone, includes both uprights) or an add-on unit (shares uprights with the adjacent unit, lower cost per bay). Order one starter per row and add-on units for all additional bays. Add-on units cannot stand alone.

♦ Custom configurations, the five pre-configured layouts cover common applications but do not represent the full range of Rousseau drawer combinations available.
