Little Giant heavy-duty welded steel fixed shelving units ship fully assembled and ready to position; no field assembly required. Each shelf supports 2,000 pounds. Open sides and back provide unrestricted access and visibility from multiple angles. The all-welded frame eliminates the alignment and rigidity issues that can develop over time in bolt-together shelving.

Three shelf-count configurations are available, all at 72" high: 4-shelf units provide 20-3/4" of clearance between shelves for the tallest stored items; 5-shelf units provide 15" of clearance; and 6-shelf units provide 11-3/4" of clearance for higher per-unit position counts. Depths range from 18" to 36". Widths range from 32" to 72".

Shelf capacity is 2,000 lbs per shelf for all configurations. This is a per-shelf rating. A 4-shelf unit can support up to 8,000 lbs total across all shelves if the floor and installation position can support that combined load.

Selecting the Right Configuration:

♦ Shelf count and clearance, the three configurations all fit within 72" of height. Choosing between them is primarily about how much vertical clearance is needed between shelves. The 4-shelf configuration's 20-3/4" clearance suits the tallest items. The 5-shelf configuration's 15" clearance suits most standard industrial parts and supplies. The 6-shelf configuration's 11-3/4" clearance maximizes the number of positions per unit for shorter items.

♦ Width, 32" to 72", a wider unit provides more lateral shelf surface per bay. The widest units (60" and 72") are suited for large items, bulk materials, or higher quantities per shelf. Narrower units (32" and 36") fit tighter installation positions.

♦ Depth, 18" to 36", match depth to the front-to-back size of the stored items and the available floor space in front of the shelving. Deeper units hold larger or deeper items and allow higher quantities per shelf.

♦ Per-shelf vs. total unit capacity, the 2,000 lb rating applies per shelf. Plan for both the per-shelf load and the total unit load when selecting and positioning this shelving.
