MECO Order Picking Steel Cart | Heavy-Duty Warehouse Stock Picker

The MECO Order Picking Steel Cart supports productivity and accuracy in order picking and inventory management with a heavy-duty steel angle frame built for daily industrial use. Two 16-gauge steel shelves feature a hemmed 2" upward lip, both eliminating sharp edges for operator safety and securely containing materials during transport. Generous 26.5" clearance between shelves allows easy access and efficient organization.

An integrated writing surface reinforced with 12-gauge gusseted steel with a 2" raised lip keeps documents, barcode readers, and writing instruments securely in place, letting operators combine picking with order documentation in a single pass. Two swivel and two rigid casters, welded securely to the frame, feature plain-bore wheels for smooth maneuverability through warehouse aisles.

Two models are available, both with a 600 lb capacity, differing in overall width and writing surface size.

Models and Specifications:

♦ OPT1, 18" wide x 36" long shelves. 5"x1-1/4" rubber casters. Capacity 600 lbs. Writing surface 12" x 18". Two 16-gauge shelves with hemmed 2" lip. 26.5" shelf clearance.

♦ OPT2, 24" wide x 36" long shelves. 5"x1-1/4" rubber casters. Capacity 600 lbs. Writing surface 12" x2 4" larger than OPT1. Same shelf and clearance specifications as OPT1, but with a greater width.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Width: 18" or 24"; select based on the footprint needed for picking materials and the preferred writing surface size. The 24" wide model (OPT2) pairs with a larger 12"x24" writing surface, useful when picking documentation involves multiple forms or larger paperwork.

♦ Integrated writing surface, the gusseted 12-gauge writing surface with a 2" raised lip is a distinctive feature for order picking workflows, allowing operators to log picks, scan barcodes, or complete paperwork without setting items down or using a separate clipboard.

♦ Shelf safety design: the hemmed 2" upward shelf lip serves double duty, containing picked items during transport while eliminating the sharp raw edges found on some lower-cost cart designs.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Warehouse Order Picking and Fulfillment, distribution and fulfillment operations picking multi-item orders use the MECO Order Picking Cart's integrated writing surface to log picks and verify order accuracy without stopping at a separate station.

♦ Inventory Cycle Counting: Warehouse operations conducting inventory cycle counts use the writing surface to record counts directly at the point of verification, improving accuracy and reducing transcription errors.

♦ Receiving and Put-Away Documentation, receiving departments logging inbound inventory during put-away use the cart to combine physical transport with real-time documentation on the built-in writing surface.

♦ General Warehouse Stock Transport: Warehouse operations moving stock between storage and staging areas use the MECO Order Picking Cart as a reliable, general-purpose picking cart with the added convenience of integrated documentation space.
