Akro-Mils AkroDrawer Plastic Drawer Bins | Enclosed Modular Drawers for Shelving Systems

Akro-Mils AkroDrawer plastic drawer bins are enclosed drawer-style storage units that protect parts, components, and supplies from dust and debris while keeping contents organized and quickly accessible. Unlike open-front bins, where contents are exposed when the bin is on the shelf, AkroDrawers fully enclose the stored items behind a solid face. The drawer slides out for access and pushes back in to seal the contents. Built-in backstop tabs prevent the drawer from pulling out completely.

AkroDrawers can be used as standalone stacking drawers or integrated directly into Akro-Mils enclosed steel shelving systems for a fully modular setup. They accept optional width dividers to create compartments within each drawer. Color-coding and label-holder slots support visual management and fast identification. Standard color is blue.

Seven drawer sizes cover two lengths (11-5/8" and 17-5/8") and four widths (3-3/4", 5-9/16", 8-3/8", 11-1/8"), all at 4-5/8" high outside. Prices are per carton of 4 or 6 drawers, depending on the model. Width dividers are available for each drawer size.

Selecting the Right Drawer:

♦ Size selection: Use the inside dimensions to confirm the drawer accommodates the part. Use the outside dimensions to confirm the drawer fits the shelf opening or stacking footprint. All seven models are 4-5/8" high outside (4-7/16" inside). Length varies between 11-5/8" and 17-5/8" outside. Width varies across four options from 3-3/4" to 11-1/8" outside.

♦ Enclosed vs. open-front, AkroDrawers enclose parts behind a closed face, protecting contents from dust, light debris, and incidental contact. Open-front AkroBins (30-Series and Super-Sized) provide faster visual access and hopper-front picking, but do not protect contents when closed. Choose AkroDrawers when parts must be kept clean and protected on the shelf. Choose open-front bins when hopper-front picking speed and direct visibility are the priority.

♦ Compatible shelving integration, AkroDrawers are designed to integrate with Akro-Mils enclosed steel shelving systems. Confirm shelf compatibility before ordering for built-in shelving installations. For standalone stacking use, any flat surface is appropriate.

♦ Width dividers: four divider models are available. The 41440 fits the 3-3/4"-wide drawers (31142, 31148). The 41460 fits the 5-9/16"-wide drawers (31162, 31168). The 41480 fits the 8-3/8"-wide drawers (31182, 31188). The 41410 fits the 11-1/8"-wide drawer 

♦ Carton quantities, the 11-5/8" and 17-5/8" models in the 3-3/4" and 5-9/16" widths ship 6 per carton. The 8-3/8" and 11-1/8" width models ship 4 per carton. Prices are per carton.
