Strong Hold Countertop Drawer Storage Cabinet

Strong Hold Countertop Drawer Storage Cabinets | Lockable Bench-Top Storage
Strong Hold countertop drawer storage cabinets are designed to sit on a workbench or counter, not on the floor. Without legs or a floor-standing base, these units add locked drawer and shelf storage directly at the work surface where the tools and parts they hold are actually used, without consuming floor space or requiring a separate cabinet position in the aisle or along the wall.
Each cabinet is built from all-welded 12-gauge steel and includes one heavy-duty drawer (6" high x 20" deep) and one adjustable 14-gauge shelf that repositions in 2" increments. A 3-point locking system with an integrated padlock hasp controls access. Three widths (24", 36", 48"), two depths (20" and 24"), and two heights (36" and 42") make up the seven configurations in the lineup.

Selecting the Right Cabinet:
♦ Width and shelf capacity: The 24" and 36" wide models carry up to 1,900 pounds per shelf. The 48" wide models are rated at 1,200 pounds per shelf. Select a width based on the bench space available and the weight of items to be stored on the shelf.
♦ Depth, 20" vs. 24": The 20"-deep models suit benches with limited front-to-back space. The 24"-deep models provide more shelf and drawer interior for deeper items. Note: the drawer is 20" deep on all models -- verify with Strong Hold whether the drawer depth increases on 24"-deep cabinets.
♦ Height, 36" vs. 42": The 36"-tall models are lower-profile units that interfere less with overhead visibility or upper cabinet clearance when placed on a workbench. The 42"-tall models provide an additional 6" of internal storage space, accommodating taller items on the shelf or additional vertical clearance above the drawer.
♦ Countertop vs. floor placement: These cabinets have no legs and are not designed for floor use. They are appropriate for placement on existing workbenches, assembly counters, service counters, and similar elevated surfaces. For floor-standing drawer storage, the Rousseau modular drawer cabinets or the Strong Hold floor-standing series are the appropriate alternatives.
♦ 3-point locking with padlock hasp: The integrated padlock hasp adds a second independent locking point for environments that require dual-lock access control, consistent with other Strong Hold cabinets in this lineup.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Workbench Point-of-Use Storage: Placing a compact, locked drawer-and-shelf unit directly on the workbench where a technician or assembler works, keeping the most-used tools and small parts within arm's reach and secured when the station is unattended.
♦ Service Counter and Parts Counter Storage: Adding lockable storage to an existing service or parts counter without modifying the counter or taking up floor space, suited to automotive shops, MRO counters, and similar service environments.
♦ Production Cell Supplemental Storage: A countertop unit on a production cell bench that holds the small tools, fixtures, and components specific to that cell, keeping them organized and locked without the floor footprint of a full-size cabinet.
♦ Lab and Technical Bench Storage: Securing precision instruments, small test equipment, calibrated tools, and sensitive supplies on a technical bench where floor space is at a premium, and the stored items require locked access control.
♦ Secure Consumable Storage at the Point of Use: Keeping controlled consumables, high-value small parts, or accountable supplies locked in a countertop cabinet directly at the work location where they are consumed, reducing trips to a central crib and maintaining accountability without a separate lockout location.
