Jesco Super Heavy Duty Low Profile Self-Dumping Hoppers

Jesco Low Profile Super Heavy Duty Self-Dumping Hoppers | Fits Under Machinery, 1/8 to 1/2 Cubic Yard
Jesco low-profile super heavy-duty self-dumping hoppers solve the collection problem at the most difficult positions on the production floor under machinery, beneath conveyor lines, below mezzanine decks, and inside any tight-clearance zone where a standard-height hopper cannot fit. At 17" high for the two smallest models and 24" high for the two larger models, these hoppers slide into positions where standard Jesco hoppers at 26" to 59" would be blocked entirely.
The formed base construction and self-dumping mechanism are consistent with the rest of the Jesco lineup. When the forklift lifts the loaded hopper out of the tight-clearance position, the hopper dumps at the disposal point and resets for the next collection cycle. Four models cover 1/8 to 1/2 cubic yard. The 1/8-yard model (212299) is rated at 2,000 pounds; the three larger models (212301, 212305, 212311) are rated at 4,000 pounds.
Models and Specifications:
♦ 212299, 1/8 cubic yard. 30" long x 28-1/2" wide x 17" high. 2,000-pound capacity. Low-profile formed base. Self-dumping. Forklift-ready.
♦ 212301, 1/4 cubic yard. 30" long x 41-1/2" wide x 17" high. 4,000-pound capacity. Low-profile formed base. Self-dumping. Forklift-ready.
♦ 212305, 1/3 cubic yard. 44" long x 41-1/2" wide x 24" high. 4,000-pound capacity. Low-profile formed base. Self-dumping. Forklift-ready.
♦ 212311, 1/2 cubic yard. 44" long x 49-1/2" wide x 24" high. 4,000-pound capacity. Low-profile formed base. Self-dumping. Forklift-ready.
Selecting the Right Hopper:
♦ Available clearance height: the two smallest models (212299 and 212301) are 17" high and suit positions where clearance is extremely limited, such as machine bases, low conveyor sections, and floor-level discharge points. The two larger models (212305 and 212311) are 24" high and suit positions with slightly more clearance. Measure the available height at the collection position before selecting a model.
♦ Volume, select based on the volume generated at the collection position between forklift pickups. The 1/8-yard (212299) is the smallest hopper in the entire Jesco lineup and suits very tight positions with low generation rates. The 1/4-yard (212301) meets the same 17" height constraint while offering more volume. The 1/3-yard (212305) and 1/2-yard (212311) add volume at the 24" height tier.
♦ Capacity, the 212299 (1/8 yard) carries 2,000 pounds -- lower than the 4,000-pound rating on the other three models. For dense scrap collection at the 17" height, verify that the 2,000-pound limit is adequate for the material being collected. If the application requires 4,000 pounds at 17" height, the 212301 provides that capacity at the same height in the 1/4-yard format.
♦ Low profile vs. standard height hoppers, the standard Jesco hopper series (heavy duty, extra duty, Husky, super extra heavy duty) start at 26-1/2" high for the smallest models. If the collection position can accommodate 26" or more of height clearance, a standard-height hopper provides more volume and capacity options at equivalent or lower prices. The low-profile series is the correct selection only when the installation height genuinely prevents the use of standard hoppers.
♦ 1/8-yard format is unique to this series; no other series in the Jesco lineup offers a 1/8-cubic-yard format. For applications requiring the smallest possible hopper footprint at the lowest possible height, the 212299 is the only option in the Jesco lineup.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Under-Machine Scrap Collection at CNC and Stamping Equipment, CNC machining centers, stamping presses, and metal-cutting equipment often have limited clearance under the machine base where chips, slugs, and scrap accumulate. The 17"-high, low-profile models fit under many machine beds for continuous collection without requiring manual cleanup between forklift pickups.
♦ Below Conveyor Scrap Drop Points, conveyor systems with reject chutes or scrap drop points at low heights use the low-profile hopper to catch material discharged at the point where a standard hopper would be too tall to position under the discharge.
♦ Mezzanine-Level Work Cells, production cells located under mezzanine decks with limited overhead clearance, use the low-profile hopper for scrap collection in the compressed vertical space that a full-height hopper could not fit.
♦ Tight-Aisle and Low-Clearance Maintenance Areas, utility tunnels, and facility spaces with restricted ceiling heights use the low-profile format for scrap and waste collection when standard hoppers cannot be staged.
♦ Dense Scrap Collection in Compact Positions, applications where the material is dense metal scrap, but the collection position height restricts the use of standard hoppers, use the 4,000-pound low profile models to achieve heavy-duty collection capacity within the height constraint.
