Logitrans EHL Series Electric Thork Skid Lift | Battery-Powered, 19" to 27" Wide Forks

The Logitrans EHL Series is the battery-powered counterpart to the manual HL-Series Thork Skid Lift. An onboard electric motor replaces the manual hydraulic pump, providing push-button lift operation without the physical effort of pumping. Like the manual HL-Series, the EHL engages under open-bottom pallets and skids that standard pallet trucks cannot handle, and raises the load to a maximum working height of 31.5". Capacity is height-dependent: 3,300 lbs to 18.5" and 2,200 lbs to the full 31.5" maximum.

The ergonomic handle is designed for a relaxed grip during frequent maneuvering. Rounded corners minimize contact damage to surroundings and pallet faces in tight aisles. Three models are available, differing only in fork width. The 19" fork option is unique to the EHL Series—the manual HL Series starts at 21.25" wide.

Models and Specifications:

♦ EHL 1004-1947, 19" W, 47" L forks. Maximum lift height 31.5". Capacity 3,300 lbs to 18.5" / 2,200 lbs to 31.5". Narrowest fork width in the EHL lineup suited for skids and pallets with the tightest entry widths.

♦ EHL 1004-2147, 21" W, 47" L forks. Maximum lift height 31.5". Capacity 3,300 lbs to 18.5" / 2,200 lbs to 31.5". Standard mid-width fork for most skid applications.

♦ EHL 1004-2747, 27" W, 47" L forks. Maximum lift height 31.5". Capacity 3,300 lbs to 18.5" / 2,200 lbs to 31.5". Widest fork spread for larger skids or applications requiring additional lateral support.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Fork width, 19", 21", or 27", select the fork width that fits within the entry opening of the skids or pallets being handled. The 19" option is the narrowest available across all Logitrans Thork models -- choose it when the skid entry opening cannot accommodate the 21" or 27" width. Wider forks provide greater lateral load stability for wider loads.

♦ Height-dependent capacity, all three models share identical capacity ratings. The full 3,300-lb capacity applies only to heights up to 18.5". At the full 31.5" maximum lift height, the capacity is 2,200 lb. Plan load weights accordingly when lifting heavy skids to full height.

♦ Electric vs. manual Thork, the EHL Series is suited for high-frequency applications where eliminating pump effort improves throughput and reduces operator fatigue across multi-shift use. For lower-cycle applications where electric operation is not required, the manual HL-Series provides the same fork geometry and lift range at a lower cost.

♦ Electric standard vs. electric stainless, for washdown or hygienic environments, the Logitrans HLIP-E (stainless electric) is the appropriate choice. The EHL Series uses standard steel construction suited for general industrial, warehouse, and production environments.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ High-Cycle Skid Handling in Distribution and Fulfillment: distribution and fulfillment operations cycling skids and open-bottom pallets repeatedly throughout a shift use the EHL for push-button electric lift, eliminating the pump effort of the manual HL-Series at high repetition rates and maintaining consistent operator energy across the shift.

♦ Production Floor Skid Positioning at Regular Intervals, production operations delivering raw material skids to work cells or staging areas at regular intervals throughout the shift use the EHL to reduce cycle time compared to manual pumping, particularly when skids must be raised and lowered frequently during the production cycle.

♦ Narrow Aisle and Tight Workspace Applications, operations using the 19" EHL 1004-1947 model in tight aisles or storage areas where the 21" minimum fork width of the manual HL-Series would not clear the entry opening, gaining access to skid inventory that wider-fork units cannot reach.

♦ Receiving and Staging with High Throughput, receiving operations with high inbound volume using the EHL to transport and raise inbound skid loads from the dock to the staging position repeatedly throughout the receiving shift, where the electric operation reduces cumulative physical effort compared to a manual skid lift.
