Logitrans EHSI Stainless Steel Inox Stacker | Hygienic Material Handling

The Logitrans EHSI is a battery-powered lift and manual push stacker, built from AISI 316L stainless steel for hygienic production environments. It is the stainless-steel counterpart to the standard ELF fork-over series, combining full stainless-steel construction with electric lift for facilities that require frequent powered stacking in washdown or regulated areas.

The fork-over design works with standard pallets, open-bottom pallets, and skids. Electric lift raises loads at the push of a button across six height options from 47" to 112". The ergonomic handle supports a relaxed grip during manual pushing, and rounded corners protect surrounding surfaces and goods during transport.

All models share the same 22" wide x 45" long forks. Capacity is 2,200 lbs for five models and decreases to 1,760 lbs at the 112" model -- see the height selection guide below before choosing.

Prices are listed by manufacturer model number for easy comparison with competitors.

Built for Hygiene-Critical Environments:

Standard painted steel stackers corrode, trap contaminants, and degrade under repeated cleaning with sanitizing agents. The EHSI eliminates those issues with full AISI 316L stainless steel construction throughout, making it suitable for food processing, pharmaceutical, beverage, medical device, and other regulated or washdown environments where standard equipment is not acceptable.

The electric lift eliminates manual pumping effort, which is especially valuable in facilities where operators frequently stack throughout the shift and fatigue is a concern.

Choosing the Right Lift Height -- Important Capacity Note:

Five of the six EHSI models carry 2,200 lbs to full rated height. The tallest model carries a reduced load. Verify your load weight before selecting.

♦ EHSI-1000-47 -- 47" max lift height, 2,200 lb capacity
♦ EHSI-1000-55 -- 55" max lift height, 2,200 lb capacity
♦ EHSI-1000-63 -- 63" max lift height, 2,200 lb capacity
♦ EHSI-1000-80 -- 80" max lift height, 2,200 lb capacity
♦ EHSI-1000-96 -- 96" max lift height, 2,200 lb capacity
♦ EHSI-1000-112 -- 112" max lift height, 1,760 lb capacity

If your loads regularly approach 2,200 lbs, the EHSI-1000-96 is the tallest model that maintains full rated capacity. If you need to reach above 96" and your loads are under 1,760 lbs, the 112" model is appropriate. If you are unsure which fits your operation, call 866-333-0728 or use the quote form.

EHSI vs. EHSSI -- Fork-Over vs. Straddle Leg:

Both are stainless steel, battery-powered lifts, manual push stackers with 2,200 lb capacity and AISI 316L construction. The difference is leg design and pallet compatibility.

♦ EHSI (Fork-Over) -- Forks pass over the pallet deck. Works with standard, open-bottom, and skid pallets. Does not handle closed-bottom pallets. Wider forks (22" x 45"). Six heights to 112". Lower price point.
♦ EHSSI (Straddle Legs) -- Legs straddle the outside of the pallet. Handles all pallet types, including closed-bottom. Narrower fork span (6.5" x 45"). Six heights to 112". Higher price point.

If your operation uses only open-bottom or standard pallets, the EHSI is the more cost-effective stainless choice. If you handle closed-bottom pallets or need maximum pallet versatility, the EHSSI is the correct selection.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Logitrans stainless steel stacker designed for?
This stainless steel stacker is built for environments where cleanliness, corrosion resistance, and reliable lifting are essential. It is commonly used to handle palletized goods in food processing, pharmaceuticals, and other hygienic workplaces. The design supports smooth lifting while maintaining a clean, durable frame that withstands washdown or moisture-prone conditions. It is a specialized solution for facilities that cannot compromise on sanitation.
How does an electric lift improve handling in a manual push stacker?
The electric lift allows the operator to raise and lower loads with minimal physical effort, while the manual push steering keeps maneuvering simple and precise. This combination reduces strain during frequent stacking and positioning tasks. It also supports controlled load placement, which is important when handling sensitive products or working in narrow storage areas. The result is a balance of efficiency and straightforward operation.
Why is stainless steel important in hygienic and corrosive environments?
Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion far better than painted or standard steel equipment. This makes it ideal for facilities exposed to water, cleaning chemicals, or high humidity. It also supports strict hygiene standards since surfaces are easier to clean and maintain. For operations with sanitation requirements, stainless construction is often a necessity rather than a luxury.
Where is this stacker most commonly used?
This type of stacker is frequently found in food production, commercial kitchens, cold storage, and pharmaceutical warehouses. It works well in areas where pallet handling is needed, but equipment must remain clean and resistant to contamination. It is also useful in tight indoor spaces where an electric lift improves productivity without requiring a full-powered ride-on truck. Many facilities rely on it for daily staging, stacking, and transport tasks.
What advantages does a hygienic stacker provide compared with standard equipment?
A hygienic stacker reduces the risk of corrosion, equipment breakdown, and contamination in sensitive work areas. It also extends the machine's service life in demanding environments, improving long-term value. Operators benefit from easier cleaning routines and dependable lifting performance. For businesses focused on compliance and cleanliness, it provides peace of mind along with practical efficiency.
