Lift Products Maxx-Ergo Lifter | Battery-Powered Ergonomic Lifter, 330–550 lb, 59"–70" Reach

The Lift Products Maxx-Ergo Lifter is a compact, battery-powered electric lifter for light-to-mid-capacity material handling at assembly, packing, staging, and workstation positions. A flexible control cord with a lift/lower button allows the operator to position the pendant at the most comfortable angle rather than being locked into a fixed control location on the handle. The onboard battery charger runs on 110V input, so the unit charges in place without a separate charging station.

Two models are available. Both use the same compact platform size and are rated at their respective capacities at a specific load center.

Models and Specifications:

♦ MXE-150, 18.5" W, 23.5" L platform. Travel 5" to 59". Capacity 330 lbs. at 9" load center. Battery-powered electric lift. Flexible pendant cord lift/lower control. Onboard 110V battery charger. Optional attachments available.

♦ MXE-250, 18.6" W, 23.8" L platform. Travel 5.1" to 70". Capacity 550 lbs. at 8" load center. Battery-powered electric lift. Flexible pendant cord lift/lower control. Onboard 110V battery charger. Optional attachments available. Reaches 70", the highest maximum lift in the Maxx-Ergo lineup, suited for elevated shelf or conveyor positions.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Capacity and load center, the MXE-150 is rated at 330 lbs. at a 9" load center. The MXE-250 is rated at 550 lbs. at an 8" load center. The load center distance is the horizontal distance from the platform face to the load's center of gravity. Verify that the actual load falls within the rated capacity at the appropriate load center before ordering.

♦ Maximum lift height, the MXE-150 reaches 59" and the MXE-250 reaches 70". If the application requires a lift above 59", the MXE-250 is the only option in this lineup. If 59" is sufficient and a 330 lb capacity covers the load, the MXE-150 provides adequate reach at a lower cost.

♦ Optional attachments, if the application involves roll, coil, or tote handling, the optional bolt-on attachments extend the unit's versatility beyond the standard platform. Call 866-333-0728 to order optional attachments and confirm compatibility with the specific model.

♦ Maxx-Ergo vs. MMLA linear-actuated: the MMLA (path 353_2864_2880_3816) is also a battery-powered, compact lifter in the Lift Products lineup, using a linear-actuated (non-hydraulic) mechanism with a capacity of 330 to 550 lb. The MMLA uses all-swivel non-marking medical casters and is designed for cleanroom and quiet environments. The Maxx-Ergo uses standard construction suited for general industrial and warehouse use. Choose based on the application environment and preferred control type.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Assembly Workstation Ergonomic Positioning, assembly operations using the Maxx-Ergo to lift and position components, sub-assemblies, and parts bins at the workstation height needed for each assembly step. Use the flexible pendant cord to keep the lift/lower control in the most convenient position throughout the assembly cycle.

♦ Packing and Kitting Station Supply: packing and kitting stations use the Maxx-Ergo to supply cartons, totes, and parts at working height. Use the electric lift to maintain ergonomic positioning without manual effort as the supply stack changes height between restocks.

♦ Roll and Coil Handling, operations using the optional roll/coil attachment handle paper rolls, textile rolls, wire coils, and similar cylindrical loads that cannot be supported on a flat platform, adapting the Maxx-Ergo to material types handled in print, textile, and fabrication environments.

♦ Tote and Bin Handling with Tote Attachment, warehouse and distribution operations using the optional tote attachment lift and position tote bins and containers that benefit from specialized support beyond what the flat platform provides, with the flexibility to revert to standard platform for other loads.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Lift Products Maxx-Ergo Lifter used for?
The Lift Products Maxx-Ergo Lifter is an ergonomic electric lifter designed for light-duty material handling tasks. It raises and positions loads to comfortable working heights without manual strain. It is commonly used in picking, packing, assembly, and staging areas, where frequent lifting slows operators. The electric lift helps maintain smooth workflows and reduces fatigue throughout the shift.
How does the electric lift mechanism improve ergonomics and comfort?
By using electric power to elevate the load, the Maxx-Ergo Lifter eliminates repeated bending, reaching, and heavy lifting. Operators can stay focused on the task rather than managing load elevation. The controlled electric motion also enhances safety compared to manual lifting. This ergonomic advantage supports steadier productivity and fewer strain-related slowdowns.
What makes this lifter a good fit for light-duty handling?
The Maxx-Ergo is designed for lighter load ranges where heavy industrial lifts are not necessary. Its size and lift range make it ideal for workstation feeding, tote and bin handling, and moving smaller skids or pallets. The lighter-duty focus also enables easier maneuverability and reduces the bulk of equipment in the workspace. This balance makes it a strong choice for operations seeking efficiency without oversized equipment.
Where does the Maxx-Ergo Lifter perform best?
This electric lifter performs well in warehouses, production lines, distribution centers, and packing stations. It is especially useful in environments where loads must be repositioned frequently throughout the day. Tight aisles and multi-station workflows benefit from its compact footprint and smooth lift action. Any operation that requires ergonomic support for lighter materials can benefit from this unit.
How does the lifter support productivity and workflow efficiency?
Keeping materials at the proper working height reduces wasted motion and speeds up repetitive tasks. Operators can work more accurately and comfortably when items are positioned where needed. The electric lift also improves load stability during handling, helping reduce drops and alignment errors. Over time, these benefits lead to smoother material flow and improved throughput.
