Presto-Lifts PSL Series Battery Powered Skid Lifters

Presto-Lifts PSL Series Battery Powered Skid Lifters | 180-Degree Steering, 2,200 lb, Built-In Charger
The Presto PSL Series battery-powered skid lifters are electric, fork-style units for raising and transporting open-bottom skids and pallets to ergonomic working heights. These units are suited for feeding conveyors, steel punches, print presses, and other fixed-position industrial equipment where loads must be raised precisely to the equipment's working height. The 180-degree steering arc provides tight-space maneuverability, and the ergonomically designed handle supports operator comfort during repeated repositioning. Designed for open-bottom skids and pallets only not for use with standard pallets that have deck boards blocking the fork entry.
Power comes from a 12V DC 70Ah battery with a built-in 110V 15A charger. The charger is onboard, so no separate charging station or cord management is required; the unit charges in place.
Two models are available, differing only in fork width.
Models and Specifications:
♦ PSL-22/20-E, 21-1/4" W, 44" L forks. Travel 3-1/2" to 31-1/2". Capacity 2,200 lbs. 12V DC 70Ah battery, built-in 110V 15A charger. 180-degree steering arc. Standard fork width.
♦ PSL-22/27-E, 27" W, 44" L forks. Travel 3-1/2" to 31-1/2". Capacity 2,200 lbs. 12V DC 70Ah battery, built-in 110V 15A charger. 180-degree steering arc. Wide-fork option for skids and pallets that require a broader fork spread.
Selecting the Right Model:
♦ Fork width, 21-1/4" vs. 27", the PSL-22/20-E uses 21-1/4" wide forks for standard skid entry openings. The PSL-22/27-E uses 27" wide forks for wider skids or where the broader spread provides better lateral load stability. All other specifications are identical. Both models are the same price.
♦ Open-bottom skid and pallet compatibility, both models are designed for open-bottom skids and open-bottom pallets only. Standard block pallets and stringer pallets with solid deck boards or closed bottoms that prevent fork entry are not compatible. Verify skid and pallet types before ordering.
♦ PSL Series vs. other battery-powered skid lifts, the PSL Series distinguishes itself with the 180-degree steering arc and the built-in onboard charger. If a tighter steering radius or integrated charging is a priority, the PSL Series is the appropriate choice. For higher capacity (above 2,200 lb), see the Vestil or Wesco battery-powered skid lifters in this category.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Conveyor Feed Positioning, production operations feeding conveyors from skid-mounted material use the PSL Series to transport and raise skid loads to conveyor infeed height, with the 180-degree steering arc allowing a precise approach to the conveyor in tight production aisles.
♦ Press and Stamping Machine Feed: metal fabrication and stamping operations feed material into presses, punches, and dies from skids. Use the PSL Series to transport and position skid-mounted stock at the machine's working height, eliminating manual lifts during machine loading.
♦ Print Press and Paper Handling, commercial printing operations feeding large format presses from paper skids use the PSL to transport and raise skid-mounted paper loads to press feed height, with the maneuverable steering allowing precise positioning at the press feeder in press room environments.
♦ Warehouse and Distribution Skid Staging, distribution operations staging inbound open-bottom skid loads at receiving, processing, and outbound staging positions use the PSL Series for battery-powered transport and lift without a fixed power connection, moving freely between positions throughout the facility on the onboard battery.
