Vestil DC Powered Steel Quick Lifts

Vestil Powered Quick Lift

Vestil DC Powered Steel Quick Lifts | Dual AGM Battery, HDPE Platform, Height Indexing Option

The Vestil DC-Powered Steel Quick Lifts are compact, battery-powered electric lifts designed for fast, ergonomic load positioning in tight spaces. Push-button controls raise and lower an HDPE platform to the working height needed at each station. The 9" horizontal load center is rated for the specified capacity when the load's center of gravity falls within 9" of the platform face.

Power comes from dual 12V AGM batteries with a 115V AC onboard charger. Two batteries provide reliable extended run time, and the onboard charger keeps the unit ready without an external charging station. The steel frame is finished with a baked-in powder coat for durability in active facility environments. All models include poly casters for smooth mobility.

Optional upgrades are available: a detachable handheld control on a coil cord for more flexible lift/lower positioning, Programmable Height Indexing for preset working heights at repeatable stations, and custom end attachments for application-specific load handling.

Models and Specifications:

♦ PEL-88S-D3, 23-1/2" W, 18-1/2" L HDPE platform. Service range 5-5/8" to 57". Capacity 175 lbs. Dual 12V AGM batteries, 115V onboard charger. Four poly casters (two swivel, two swivel-locking). The higher-capacity model at this platform size. Note: higher capacity than the PEL-100S-D3 despite the lower model number.

♦ PEL-100S-D3, 23-1/2" W, 18-1/2" L HDPE platform. Service range 5-5/8" to 72". Capacity 125 lbs. Dual 12V AGM batteries, 115V onboard charger. Four poly casters (two swivel, two swivel-locking). Reaches 72" maximum, the greatest height in the PEL-88/100 group. Note: lower capacity (125 lb) than the PEL-88S-D3 (175 lb) at the same platform size.

♦ PEL-400S-57-D3, 24" W, 20" L HDPE platform. Service range 6-1/2" to 57". Capacity 400 lbs. Dual 12V AGM batteries, 115V onboard charger. Rigid front wheels, swivel rear wheels with locks. The higher-capacity group handles loads up to 400 lb. Lower minimum height (6-1/2") than the smaller models.

♦ PEL-400S-72-D3, 24" W, 20" L HDPE platform. Service range 6-1/2" to 72". Capacity 400 lbs. Dual 12V AGM batteries, 115V onboard charger. Rigid front wheels, swivel rear wheels with locks. Same capacity as PEL-400S-57-D3 at a greater maximum height (72").

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Capacity group, 125-175 lb (PEL-88 and PEL-100) vs. 400 lb (PEL-400), the PEL-88 and PEL-100 models handle lighter loads up to 175 lb on a 23-1/2" x 18-1/2" platform. The PEL-400 models handle heavier loads up to 400 lb on a slightly larger 24" x 20" platform. Choose the group based on the maximum load weight.

♦ Maximum service height, 57" or 72", within each capacity group; the two models differ only in maximum height. The 57" models (PEL-88S-D3 and PEL-400S-57-D3) cover most standard workstation and mid-level shelf heights. The 72" models (PEL-100S-D3 and PEL-400S-72-D3) reach higher conveyors, elevated racks, and taller shelf positions.

♦ PEL-88 vs. PEL-100 capacity note, the PEL-88S-D3 (175 lb) has greater capacity than the PEL-100S-D3 (125 lb) at the same platform size. If a 175 lb capacity and a 57" maximum are adequate, the PEL-88S-D3 is the stronger choice. If a 72" height is required and a 125 lb capacity is sufficient, choose the PEL-100S-D3.

♦ Optional Programmable Height Indexing: If the application involves returning to the same height positions repeatedly, such as a consistent bench height or conveyor height at multiple stations, the Programmable Height Indexing option reduces setup time and operator variation.

♦ Caster configuration, the PEL-88 and PEL-100 use four poly casters (two swivel, two swivel-locking) for omnidirectional maneuverability. The PEL-400 models use rigid front wheels and swivel rear wheels with locks for more controlled directional tracking under heavier loads.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Assembly and Kitting Workstations with Repeatable Heights, assembly and kitting operations using the same lift position repeatedly use the optional Programmable Height Indexing to preset the lift to each station's working height, eliminating manual adjustment between cycles and reducing operator-to-operator variation.

♦ Packing Station Ergonomic Positioning: packing stations where operators repeatedly access cartons, totes, and materials at a fixed working height use the PEL Quick Lift for push-button electric positioning at the correct ergonomic height, maintaining consistent posture throughout the full packing shift.

♦ Maintenance and MRO Parts Positioning, maintenance departments using the PEL-400 to position heavy components and equipment at the service height needed for repair operations use the 400 lb capacity and the rigid/swivel caster configuration for stable positioning at the work location.

♦ Multi-Station Workflows with Tight Aisles, operations moving the lift between multiple workstations in narrow aisles use the compact HDPE platform and low-profile design for easy navigation and fast positioning at each station without the footprint of a larger battery-powered stacker.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Vestil DC-powered steel Quick Lift used for?
The Vestil DC-powered steel Quick Lift is a push-button battery lift designed for ergonomic vertical positioning of loads. It uses dual 12 V AGM batteries and an onboard charger to deliver smooth, power-assisted lifting without external power cords. The HDPE platform provides a durable surface for totes, boxes, or smaller pallet loads. This lift is ideal for workplaces that need frequent height adjustment with minimal operator effort.

How does powered lifting improve ergonomics and safety?
Powered lifting eliminates the need for manual pumping or cranking, reducing bending and strain for workers throughout the day. Operators can raise and lower loads with the push of a button, keeping materials at the right working height. This controlled motion also supports better posture and lowers the risk of fatigue-related slowdowns or injuries. Over time, ergonomic lifts like this help create a safer and more comfortable work environment.
What makes battery operation and onboard charging valuable?
Dual 12 V AGM batteries offer reliable, maintenance-friendly power for extended use across shifts. The onboard charger adds convenience by allowing quick recharge without additional equipment or hookups. This means the lift stays in service longer and can be used in different areas of your facility without worrying about cords or plug points. Battery power keeps the lift mobile and flexible for a variety of workflows.
How does height indexing support workflow precision?
Height indexing options let you preset specific lifting positions for repeated tasks. This is especially useful for assembly lines, packing stations, or staging zones where materials must be positioned consistently. Quick, repeatable adjustments save time and reduce variance between operators. The result is more predictable processes and better quality control.
Where does the Vestil Quick Lift perform best?
This lift is well-suited for warehouses, distribution centers, production lines, and packing stations where frequent vertical positioning is needed. It performs especially well in ergonomic handling zones where operators repeatedly access materials at varying heights. Its steel construction and HDPE platform also make it a strong choice for mixed material handling tasks. If you need battery-powered lift performance with precision, this unit delivers.
