Vestil HYD Series Hefti-Lift Stacker | Manual Hydraulic, 300 to 1,500 lb, 35"–63" Service Range

The Vestil HYD Series Hefti-Lift is a manual hydraulic stacker with a foot-pump lift mechanism that provides 3/4" of platform travel per stroke for precise height adjustment. Welded steel construction with chrome-plated platform uprights provides long service life under repeated lifting cycles. Two rigid and two swivel poly-on-steel casters with foot-operated brakes provide maneuverability and stable positioning.

Six models are available in two configuration groups: standard and extended platform (EP suffix). Standard models (HYD-3, HYD-5, HYD-10, HYD-15) use 23" wide x 24" or 31.5" long platforms at 880 to 1,500 lb capacity. EP models (HYD-5-EP, HYD-10-EP) use a longer 23" x 40" platform at 300 to 400 lb capacity.

Models and Specifications:

♦ HYD-3, 23" W, 24" L platform. Service range 3-1/2" to 35". Capacity 880 lbs. 3/4" per stroke foot pump. Poly-on-steel casters with foot brakes. Chrome-plated uprights.

♦ HYD-5, 23" W, 24" L platform. Service range 4-1/2" to 44". Capacity 880 lbs. 3/4" per stroke foot pump. Poly-on-steel casters with foot brakes. Chrome-plated uprights. Higher reach than HYD-3 at the same capacity and platform size.

♦ HYD-10, 23" W, 24" L platform. Service range 4-1/2" to 59". Capacity 880 lbs. 3/4" per stroke foot pump. Poly-on-steel casters with foot brakes. Chrome-plated uprights. The tallest standard 24" platform model.

♦ HYD-15, 23" W, 31-1/2" L platform. Service range 4" to 63". Capacity 1,500 lbs. 3/4" per stroke foot pump. Poly-on-steel casters with foot brakes. Chrome-plated uprights. The highest-capacity and tallest-reaching model in the HYD Series lineup.

♦ HYD-5-EP, 23" W, 40" L platform. Service range 4-1/2" to 44". Capacity 400 lbs. 3/4" per stroke foot pump. Poly-on-steel casters with foot brakes. Chrome-plated uprights. Extended platform length. Lower capacity than the standard models -- suited for lighter loads that benefit from the longer 40" platform.

♦ HYD-10-EP, 23" W, 40" L platform. Service range 4-1/2" to 59". Capacity 300 lbs. 3/4" per stroke foot pump. Poly-on-steel casters with foot brakes. Chrome-plated uprights. An extended platform length at the higher service range. The longest platform and tallest reach among the EP models.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Standard vs. EP (extended platform), the standard models (HYD-3, HYD-5, HYD-10, HYD-15) use 24" or 31.5" long platforms and handle 880 to 1,500 lbs. The EP models use a 40" long platform and handle 300 to 400 lbs. Choose EP when a longer platform surface is needed for the load footprint, and the lower capacity (300 or 400 lb) is adequate. Choose a standard when a higher capacity is required.

♦ Capacity, 300 to 1,500 lb, select a model rated comfortably above the maximum expected load weight. The HYD-15 at 1,500 lb is the highest capacity in the lineup. The EP models are capacity-limited to 300 or 400 lb.

♦ Maximum service height, HYD-3 reaches 35"; HYD-5 and HYD-5-EP reach 44"; HYD-10 and HYD-10-EP reach 59"; HYD-15 reaches 63". Select based on the highest position needed. The HYD-15's 63" maximum reach is the tallest in the lineup and suited for elevated staging or rack positioning.

♦ 3/4" per stroke, the 3/4" per stroke pump provides fine height increments for precise platform positioning, useful when the work requires the platform to be set at an exact height rather than pumped to a general range.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Workstation Feeding at Precise Heights, production assembly, and kitting operations using the Hefti-Lift to feed materials to a workstation at a specific height. Use the 3/4" per stroke pump for precise elevation to the exact working height required by the process.

♦ Staging and Load Positioning at 35" to 63": staging and positioning operations that require lifts to heights of 35" to 63" use the appropriate HYD model for the required height range, with the HYD-15 covering the highest position requirements in this lineup.

♦ Stockroom and Light Manufacturing Pallet and Load Handling, stockrooms and light manufacturing areas using the HYD series for occasional lifting of pallets and loads to elevated positions, without powered equipment, use the standard models for the combination of capacity and platform size that matches the load.

♦ Extended Platform Applications at Lighter Loads, operations handling lightweight but long loads, panels, sheets, or extended containers that require a 40" platform surface for stable support, use the HYD-5-EP or HYD-10-EP at the appropriate service height.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Vestil Hefti-Lift stacker used for?
The Vestil Hefti-Lift stacker is a manual hydraulic lifting solution designed to raise and position pallets and skids in industrial environments. It is ideal for stacking, staging, and transporting palletized loads without powered equipment. This stacker provides reliable lifting performance for facilities that require occasional material positioning and handling. It is a practical option for managing ergonomic pallets and skids.
How does the Hefti-Lift improve ergonomic handling?
By lifting loads to a comfortable working height, the stacker reduces the need for operators to bend and lift manually from floor level. This supports better posture and helps lower fatigue throughout the workday. The hydraulic lift system allows for smooth elevation with controlled effort. Ergonomic lifting leads to safer handling and more consistent productivity.
What makes manual hydraulic operation valuable for pallet lifting?
Manual hydraulic lifting provides dependable performance without relying on batteries or electric motors. This makes the Hefti-Lift simple to maintain and cost-effective for lighter-duty applications. Operators can lift and position loads with precision using smooth hydraulic control. It is a strong solution for facilities that want reliable lifting without the complexity of powered equipment.
Where does the Vestil Hefti-Lift stacker perform best?
This stacker performs well in warehouses, workshops, manufacturing areas, and stockrooms where pallets and skids need occasional lifting and positioning. It is especially useful in spaces where forklifts are impractical or unnecessary for lighter loads. The stacker supports tasks such as workstation feeding, staging, and short-distance transport. Any operation needing ergonomic manual pallet handling can benefit from this equipment.
How does the stacker support workflow efficiency?
By keeping loads accessible at the proper height, operators can work faster and more comfortably. The ability to position pallets precisely reduces wasted motion and improves organization in handling areas. Stable hydraulic lifting also helps reduce product damage and handling errors. Over time, this contributes to smoother material flow and improved daily output.
