Wesco 4-Wheeled Steel Frame Winch Pedalift, Adjustable Forks

Wesco 4 Wheeled Steel Frame Winch Pedalift

Wesco 4-Wheeled Steel Frame Winch Pedalift, Adjustable Forks, Wheel Lock Standard, 40" or 54" Lift

The Wesco 4-Wheeled Steel Frame Winch Pedalift combines winch-based lifting with four-wheel upright transport for controlled, stable material handling. The auto-brake winch raises and lowers the platform by turning the handle, with no catches, no pump strokes, and no abrupt stops. The platform starts at 5.75" above the floor and can be raised to 40" or 54", depending on the model.

Mobility is provided by two systems: 8" x 2" main wheels with 0.75" precision ball bearings for stable rolling under load, and 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters with ball bearings for tighter steering and precise positioning in confined work zones. A standard wheel lock secures the unit during loading and lifting. Overall height is 48.5" for 40" lift models and 60.5" for 54" lift models.

Five models are available in the same configurations as the 2-wheeled winch Pedalift: three platform sizes and two fork options, all with a 750 lb capacity.

Models and Specifications:

♦ 260020, 20" x 16" platform. Platform starting height 5.75". Lift height 40". Overall height 48.5". Capacity 750 lbs. Auto-brake winch, handle-controlled raise/lower. Wheel lock. 8"x2" main wheels, 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters. Compact platform, lowest lift height.

♦ 260021, 22" x 22" platform. Platform starting height 5.75". Lift height 54". Overall height 60.5". Capacity 750 lbs. Auto-brake winch, handle-controlled raise/lower. Wheel lock. 8"x2" main wheels, 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters.

♦ 260022, 30" x 22" platform. Platform starting height 5.75". Lift height 54". Overall height 60.5". Capacity 750 lbs. Auto-brake winch, handle-controlled raise/lower. Wheel lock. 8"x2" main wheels, 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters. Widest platform in the 4-wheeled winch lineup.

♦ 260023, 3" x 18" forks. Platform starting height 5.75". Lift height 40". Overall height 48.5". Capacity 750 lbs. Auto-brake winch, handle-controlled raise/lower. Wheel lock. 8"x2" main wheels, 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters. Fork model at lower lift height.

♦ 260024, 3" x 18" forks. Platform starting height 5.75". Lift height 54". Overall height 60.5". Capacity 750 lbs. Auto-brake winch, handle-controlled raise/lower. Wheel lock. 8"x2" main wheels, 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters. Fork model at higher lift height.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Platform vs. fork configuration, platform models (260020, 260021, 260022) provide a flat surface for bins, boxes, and non-pallet loads. Adjustable Fork models (260023, 260024) suit pallets and skids with accessible fork entry.

♦ Platform size, 20"x16", 22"x22", or 30"x22", the 20"x16" (260020) suits smaller compact loads at 40" lift. The 22"x22" (260021) provides a larger square platform. The 30"x22" (260022) is the widest at 54" lift. Match to the load footprint.

♦ Lift height, 40" or 54", select based on the destination height needed. Consider the overall heights of 48.5" (40" models) and 60.5" (54" models) for doorway and overhead clearance in the travel path.

♦ 4-wheeled winch vs. 4-wheeled hydraulic Pedalift, both roll upright on 4 wheels and share the same configurations, capacity, and lift heights. The winch model adds 3.5" polyurethane front swivel casters for tighter steering. The hydraulic model uses foot-pump lift and foot-release lowering. Choose the winch for precise, handle-controlled positioning or when hydraulic maintenance is a concern; choose the hydraulic when foot-pump operation is preferred.

♦ 4-wheeled vs. 2-wheeled winch Pedalift, both use the same winch mechanism and auto-brake. The 4-wheeled model rolls upright for greater transport stability. The 2-wheeled model tips back for hand-truck-style maneuverability in tighter spaces. Both offer identical configurations and capacities.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Stable Upright Transport with Winch Lift, operations where load stability during rolling is important, use the 4-wheeled winch Pedalift for upright transport with the added maneuverability of the front swivel casters when positioning at the work location.

♦ Confined Work Zone Positioning, operations in tight aisles, press rooms, or workstations where precise positioning is needed, use the 3.5" front swivel casters to steer the loaded unit into the correct position with more control than fixed-wheel transport allows.

♦ Maintenance-Low Lifting in Active Environments, facilities seeking to minimize hydraulic maintenance while retaining upright 4-wheel transport use the winch Pedalift as a mechanically simple alternative at the same configurations and lift heights as the hydraulic model.

♦ Workbench and Conveyor Infeed Loading at 40"–54", operations loading to workbenches, conveyor infeed points, or elevated staging positions at 40" or 54" use the 4-wheeled winch Pedalift for smooth winch-controlled lift to transfer height after transporting the load upright to the destination.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Wesco four-wheeled steel frame winch Pedalift used for?
The Wesco four-wheeled steel-frame Pedalift winch is a manual lifting solution designed to efficiently raise and transport loads in industrial environments. It uses a winch to lift materials to an ergonomic working height. Adjustable forks allow it to handle different pallet and load configurations. This lift is ideal for facilities needing reliable manual lifting with added mobility and stability.
How does the winch lift system ensure safe, controlled operation?
A winch lift mechanism allows operators to raise loads gradually with precise control. This improves safety when positioning materials at elevated heights. The controlled lifting action helps reduce the risk of sudden drops or shifting loads. It provides operators with a secure, reliable way to manage manual lifting tasks.
Why is the four-wheeled design valuable for material handling mobility?
The four-wheeled configuration offers greater stability when moving loads across warehouse floors. It provides smoother transport and better balance, especially when handling heavier materials. Standard wheel locks help prevent unwanted movement during lifting and loading. This combination makes the Pedalift a practical choice for mobile ergonomic lifting.
What advantages do adjustable forks provide?
Adjustable forks allow the Pedalift to accommodate different pallet widths and material types. This flexibility makes it useful across multiple applications within a facility. Operators can configure the forks to match specific load requirements for better handling efficiency. This adaptability supports more versatile daily material movement.
Where does the Wesco winch Pedalift perform best?
This lift performs well in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, shipping departments, and staging areas where loads require frequent movement and elevation. It is especially useful when forklifts are not practical for lighter handling tasks. The mobile design makes it effective for transporting materials between workstations. Any operation needing ergonomic manual lifting versatility can benefit from this equipment.
