Wesco SFL Series Fork Model Hydraulic Stacker

Wesco Fork Model Hydraulic Stackers

Wesco SFL Series Fork Model Hydraulic Stacker | 1,000 lb, Floor-Touch Forks, Safety Screen Standard

The Wesco SFL Series fork model hydraulic stackers are manual foot-pump hydraulic stackers for lifting, stacking, and positioning palletized loads in warehouses, stockrooms, and production areas. The floor-touch forks allow engagement with pallets sitting directly on the floor without first raising the unit. Fork span is adjustable up to 25" to accommodate different pallet widths and load footprints.

Three safety features are standard on every model: floor locks to prevent movement during lifting, a safety screen to separate the operator from the raised load, and a foot guard. Five-inch phenolic front wheels and 4 phenolic rear swivel casters provide smooth, predictable mobility on facility floors. Each unit includes a 1-year warranty.

Three models are available, all at 1,000 lb capacity and 15" load centers. The only variable is the maximum raised height.

Models and Specifications:

♦ 260035, floor-touch forks, adjustable span to 25". Maximum raised height 56". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Load centers 15". Floor locks, safety screen, foot guard standard. 5" phenolic front wheels, 4" phenolic rear swivel casters. 1-year warranty.

♦ 260036, floor-touch forks, adjustable span to 25". Maximum raised height 64". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Load centers 15". Floor locks, safety screen, foot guard standard. 5" phenolic front wheels, 4" phenolic rear swivel casters. 1-year warranty.

♦ 260037, floor-touch forks, adjustable span to 25". Maximum raised height 76". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Load centers: 15". Floor locks, safety screen, and foot guard standard. 5" phenolic front wheels, 4" phenolic rear swivel casters. 1-year warranty. The highest-reach model in the SFL Series is chosen when loads must be placed into rack positions at heights above 64".

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Maximum raised height: 56", 64", or 76". The only difference between the three models is the maximum height. Select based on the highest rack position or stacking height required in the application. If loads must be placed into a rack at heights above 56" or 64", choose the 260036 or 260037, respectively. When in doubt, choose the taller model it can always be used at lower heights.

♦ Fork span adjustment: The adjustable fork span (up to 25") provides flexibility for different pallet widths. Set the fork span to match the load footprint before use. Verify that the fork span clears the pallet entry opening and that the load is stable across the fork width before lifting.

♦ Floor locks, the standard floor locks are important for stability during loading and unloading at raised heights. Engage the floor locks once the stacker is positioned at the work location before lifting begins.

♦ Wesco SFL vs. Logitrans manual stackers, the Wesco SFL is a fork-model stacker at 1,000 lb capacity with raised heights of 56" to 76". The Logitrans LF-Mini offers up to 65" lift at 2,200 lb capacity (fork-over design), and the Logitrans LFS-Mini offers up to 62" lift at 2,200 lb capacity (straddle legs design for all pallet types). Choose based on required capacity, maximum lift height, and compatibility with pallet type.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Warehouse Pallet Rack Loading at 56" to 76" Heights, warehouse operations loading 1,000 lb palletized goods into rack positions at heights of 56" to 76", use the Wesco SFL series as a manual alternative to powered forklifts or reach trucks for low-frequency rack loading tasks that do not justify powered equipment.

♦ Stockroom Pallet Stacking, stockroom operations, stacking empty or loaded pallets for storage. Use the SFL stacker for stable, controlled stacking to the selected maximum height with the floor lock engaged during loading.

♦ Staging and Positioning, manufacturing and distribution staging areas, positioning palletized product at work positions, use the SFL for reliable manual hydraulic lift and the adjustable fork span to accommodate the range of pallet sizes and load footprints in the staging area.

♦ Production and Shipping Area Pallet Handling: lifting palletized outbound shipments and staging them at elevated positions for consolidation. Use the 76" 260037 for the tallest reach when loads must be placed above standard working height.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Wesco fork model hydraulic stacker used for?
The Wesco fork model hydraulic stacker is a manual lifting solution designed to raise and position palletized loads in warehouses and industrial environments. It is ideal for stacking, staging, and moving materials when forklifts are not necessary. Floor-touch forks allow operators to easily pick up pallets directly from the ground. This makes it a practical tool for efficient and ergonomic pallet handling.
How does this hydraulic stacker improve workplace ergonomics?
By lifting loads to a comfortable working height, the stacker reduces the need for heavy manual lifting and awkward bending. Operators can position pallets more safely and with better control. The hydraulic lift system provides smooth elevation with minimal physical strain. Ergonomic lifting supports safer daily workflows and improves productivity.
What makes floor-touch forks valuable for material handling?
Floor-touch forks allow the stacker to engage pallets sitting directly on the floor without additional equipment. This improves versatility and reduces time spent repositioning loads. It also makes pallet pickup easier in staging areas and work zones. The ability to lift directly from floor level adds convenience for everyday operations.
How do safety features such as a safety screen and floor locks support operations?
A built-in safety screen helps protect operators by creating a barrier between the load and the handle area. Floor locks provide added stability by preventing unwanted movement during lifting or loading. These features improve control and reduce risks in busy environments. Together, they contribute to safer and more confident material handling.
Where does the Wesco hydraulic stacker perform best?
This stacker is well-suited for warehouses, stockrooms, manufacturing plants, and shipping areas. It performs best in operations that require occasional pallet lifting and positioning, without requiring investment in powered equipment. The phenolic wheels support smooth rolling on many industrial floor surfaces. Any facility needing dependable manual stacking capability can benefit from this solution.
