Wesco Fork Model Battery Powered Stacker, 1,000 lb Capacity

Wesco Fork Models Powered Stackers

Wesco Fork Model Powered Stacker | 1,000 lb, Floor-Touch Forks, 56", 64", or 76" Lift

The Wesco Fork Model Powered Stacker is a battery-electric fork stacker for palletized load handling in warehouses, plants, and stockrooms. Each unit ships ready to operate with a battery and charger included. The 3" wide x 25" long forks have a floor-touch design; they lower to the floor for ground-level pallet engagement without requiring a raised loading surface. Remote control, floor lock, and safety screen are standard on all
models.

Battery monitoring is built in: an illuminated battery-status voltmeter and a three-light LED charge indicator keep operators informed of charge status throughout the shift, eliminating guesswork. Five-inch phenolic front wheels and 4" phenolic rear casters provide smooth, durable mobility. ASME B56.10 compliant. Battery and charger included.

Six models are available across two straddle leg configurations and three raised heights. All are rated at 1,000 lb capacity.

Models and Specifications:

♦ 261028, 15" ID, 21" OD straddle legs. Raised height 56". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Floor-touch forks (3" x 25"). Remote control, floor lock, safety screen. Battery voltmeter, three-light LED indicator. Battery and charger included. ASME B56.10.

♦ 261029, 15" ID, 21" OD straddle legs. Raised height 64". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same specification as 261028 at a greater raised height.

♦ 261030, 15" ID, 21" OD straddle legs. Raised height 76". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same specification as 261028 at the greatest raised height. Tallest narrow-leg model.

♦ 261031, 25.5" ID, 32" OD straddle legs. Raised height 56". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Floor-touch forks (3" x 25"). Remote control, floor lock, safety screen. Battery voltmeter, three-light LED indicator. Battery and charger included. ASME B56.10. A wider straddle-leg configuration requires greater aisle clearance but provides broader lateral stability.

♦ 261032, 25.5" ID, 32" OD straddle legs. Raised height 64". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same specification as 261031 at a greater raised height.

♦ 261033, 25.5" ID, 32" OD straddle legs. Raised height 76". Capacity 1,000 lbs. Same specification as 261031 at the greatest raised height. Tallest wide-leg model.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Straddle leg configuration, 15"/21" vs. 25.5"/32", the narrow-leg models (15" ID, 21" OD) require less aisle clearance -- the 21" outside leg span determines the minimum clear aisle width needed to operate the stacker. The wide-leg models (25.5" ID, 32" OD) provide broader lateral stability for loads that benefit from a wider base, but require more aisle clearance (32" OD minimum). Choose the narrowest leg configuration that provides adequate stability for the loads and operating environment.

♦ Raised height: 56", 64", or 76"; select based on the highest rack position or stacking height needed. Both leg configurations are available at all three heights. If in doubt, choose the taller model it can always be used at lower heights.

♦ Floor-touch forks: the floor-touch fork design allows pallet engagement from ground level without pre-positioning or an elevated loading dock. This is important for loading from floor-level pallets or skids directly in the aisle without auxiliary equipment.

♦ Remote control: The remote control is standard on all models and is a meaningful operational difference from the Presto AC Electric Stackers, which use a coil cord. The Wesco remote allows positioning the load from a comfortable standing position during lifting.

♦ Battery monitoring, the illuminated voltmeter, and the three-light LED indicator provide real-time charge status. These features are standard on all six models and help operators plan battery charging around shift schedules without running the battery to depletion.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Warehouse Pallet Rack Loading at 56" to 76", warehouse operations loading 1,000 lb pallets into rack positions at heights of 56" to 76" use the Wesco fork stacker for battery-powered lift without the infrastructure cost of a full-size powered counterbalance forklift.

♦ Distribution Center Staging and Palletized Load Positioning: Distribution operations staging and positioning pallets between receiving, processing, and outbound areas use the battery-powered stacker for flexible, cord-free lift and transport across the facility floor.

♦ Production Support Pallet Handling, production support operations delivering palletized raw materials to production positions use the floor-touch forks to engage pallets from ground level and transport them to the production position with an electric-powered lift.

♦ Tight Aisle and Compact Facility Operations: Operations in facilities with narrow aisles use the 15"/21" straddle leg configuration (21" outside span) for battery-powered pallet stacking where wider equipment cannot maneuver.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Wesco fork model powered stacker used for?
The Wesco fork-mounted powered stacker is an ergonomic electric lifting solution designed to efficiently raise, transport, and position palletized loads. It is ideal for stacking, staging, and workstation feeding tasks in warehouses and production environments. Battery-powered operation provides smooth lifting without the strain of manual handling. This unit is a practical alternative to forklifts for everyday pallet movement.
How do floor-touch forks improve material handling convenience?
Floor-touch forks allow operators to engage pallets directly from ground level without needing additional equipment. This makes pallet pickup faster and more efficient in staging areas and work zones. The design improves versatility for handling loads that start at floor height. It supports a smoother workflow in busy daily operations.
How does electric power and remote control improve ergonomics?
An electric lift reduces the need for manual pumping or heavy physical effort when raising loads. Remote control operation gives operators improved handling flexibility and positioning control. Smooth powered motion supports better posture, reduces fatigue, and enhances overall safety. These ergonomic advantages help maintain productivity throughout the shift.
Where does this powered stacker perform best?
This stacker performs well in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and shipping departments where pallets must be moved and stacked regularly. It is especially useful in tighter aisles where forklifts may not be practical. Battery-powered operation provides flexibility across multiple workstations without requiring fixed power sources. Any facility needing efficient powered pallet stacking can benefit from this equipment.
How does the powered stacker support productivity and workflow efficiency?
By combining lift and transport into a single powered unit, operators can position pallets quickly and accurately with less physical strain. Controlled lifting improves load stability and reduces handling errors. Less wasted motion leads to smoother daily material flow and better throughput. Over time, powered stackers contribute to safer operations and stronger efficiency.
