Wesco Platform Powered Stackers | Battery Electric, Steel Platform, 1,500–2,000 lb

Wesco Platform Powered Stackers are battery-electric stackers with a steel platform designed for lifting and positioning non-palletized loads, boxes, bins, totes, equipment components, and irregular items that don't sit well on forks. Electric lift operation eliminates manual pumping, reducing operator fatigue during repeated lifting cycles. The battery and charger are included with every model.

Sixteen models are available across three base leg configurations, two capacity tiers (1,500 and 2,000 lb), and four raised heights (60", 68", 80", and 90"). All models are lower than 6". ANSI B56.10 compliant.

Selection Guide:

♦ Base leg configuration and aisle clearance: the base legs extend outward alongside the load to provide lateral stability during lifting. Three leg widths are available: 15" inside / 21" outside, 20" inside / 26" outside, and 30" inside / 36" outside. The outside leg width (OD) determines the minimum aisle width needed to operate the stacker. Choose the narrowest leg width that provides adequate stability for the application. Wider legs improve stability for larger or heavier loads but require more aisle clearance.

♦ Capacity: 1,500 lb or 2,000 lb. The 15"/21" leg configuration is available in 1,500 lb only. The 20"/26" leg configuration is available in 2,000 lb only. The 30"/36" leg configuration is available in both 1,500 lb and 2,000 lb. Select based on the maximum expected load weight and the leg configuration that fits the available aisle space.

♦ Maximum raised height, 60", 68", 80", or 90"; all four heights are available in the 30"/36" base leg configuration (both 1,500 and 2,000 lb) and in the 15"/21" and 20"/26" configurations. Select based on the highest rack position, stacking height, or transfer height needed in the application.

♦ Platform stacker vs. fork stacker: platform stackers provide a flat steel surface for non-palletized loads. Fork-type powered stackers engage pallets directly. Choose the platform configuration when loads lack pallet fork entry points or when a stable, flat support surface is required for the load type.

♦ Battery and charger included: all models come with a battery and charger as standard equipment, simplifying ordering and ensuring the unit is operational upon arrival. Verify that a compatible charging outlet (typically 120V AC) is available at the charging position before delivery.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Warehouse Bin, Tote, and Carton Stacking at 60" to 90" Heights, warehouse operations stacking bins, totes, and cartons to elevated shelf or rack positions at 60" to 90" use the platform stacker for battery-powered lift to height without the manual effort of hand-pump stackers, and without the fork compatibility limitation that would exclude these load types from fork-style powered stackers.

♦ Production Parts and Component Staging: Production support areas stage bins and containers of parts and components at elevated positions for assembly or processing. Use the platform stacker for a reliable, battery-powered lift to the work position height, with the steel platform providing broad, stable support across the load base.

♦ Packing and Shipping Elevated Staging, packing and shipping departments staging cartons and containers at elevated conveyor or rack positions use the Wesco platform stacker for repeatable powered lift to the staging height, with the flat platform supporting the load throughout the lift and position cycle.

♦ Maintenance Equipment and Parts Positioning, maintenance departments position equipment components, tool storage containers, and supply bins at elevated work positions, using the platform stacker for battery-powered lift of non-pallet loads to the service or storage height required.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are Wesco platform-powered stackers used for?
Wesco platform-powered stackers are industrial-duty lifting solutions designed to raise, transport, and position materials on a stable steel platform. They are ideal for handling non-palletized loads such as boxes, containers, and equipment parts that require a flat surface. Electric lift operation provides smooth vertical positioning with minimal operator effort. These stackers are a practical choice for ergonomic material handling in busy warehouse and production environments.
How does electric lifting improve ergonomics and safety?
Electric lifting eliminates the need for manual pumping or cranking, reducing physical strain throughout the workday. Operators can raise loads with controlled powered motion, helping maintain better posture and comfort. Smooth elevation also improves load stability during handling. Ergonomic electric lift support leads to safer workflows and fewer fatigue-related slowdowns.
What makes the steel platform design valuable for industrial applications?
A steel platform provides durable, stable support for a wide variety of load types. It is especially useful for irregular or non-palletized materials that cannot be handled with standard forks. The rugged construction withstands frequent lifting cycles in demanding environments. This makes platform stackers a versatile solution for industrial material positioning.
Where do Wesco platform-powered stackers perform best?
These units perform well in warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and shipping departments where materials must be lifted and staged regularly. They are especially useful at packing stations and assembly areas that require frequent vertical positioning. Their powered lift function supports efficiency in high-traffic work zones. Any operation needing ergonomic platform lifting can benefit from this equipment.
How do platform stackers support productivity and workflow efficiency?
Keeping materials elevated and accessible reduces wasted motion and speeds up repetitive handling tasks. Operators can position loads accurately at workstations without excessive manual effort. Electric lift control also helps prevent product damage by improving stability during movement. Over time, these benefits contribute to smoother material flow and improved daily throughput.
