Strong Hold Standard Lockers

Strong Hold Standard Lockers | All-Welded 12-Gauge Steel Industrial Lockers
Strong Hold Standard Lockers are built from all-welded 12-gauge steel, the same construction specification as the Strong Hold industrial storage cabinet lineup. Where commercial personnel lockers are typically built from lighter-gauge sheet metal designed for low-impact office or gym use, the Strong Hold Standard Locker is built for industrial facilities where lockers take daily hard use, where contents include heavy tools and PPE, and where structural integrity over years of continuous use is a requirement rather than an assumption.
Each compartment opening measures 21-1/2" wide by 32-3/4" high, providing generous interior space for work clothing, personal protective equipment, tools, and personal belongings. Inside each compartment are two adjustable half-width shelves rated at 775 pounds each and two coat hooks for garments and hanging equipment. Five configurations are available, spanning 2 to 10 doors per unit, all 24" deep and 78" tall. On models wider than 6 feet, welded skid legs add structural support and stability.

Selecting the Right Model:
♦ Number of doors: Each model is sold as a single unit containing the stated number of compartments. The 2-door model suits small crews or pilot installations. The 4-door model fits a small shift team. The 6, 8, and 10-door models suit larger departments or facilities equipping a full locker room in a single purchase. Multiple units can be installed side by side to expand capacity.
♦ 775 pounds per half-width shelf: This rating is substantially higher than commercial locker shelving, which is typically rated for light personal belongings only. The 775-pound rating per shelf makes these lockers appropriate for workers who store heavy tools, boots, helmets, and full sets of PPE -- not just clothing and personal items.
♦ Skid legs on wider models: Units 74" wide and above (66-24-2TPL through 106-24-2TPL) include welded skid legs for additional floor stability. This matters in high-traffic areas and on floors subject to vibration from nearby machinery, where lighter locker frames can walk or tip over time.
♦ 24" depth: All models are 24" deep, which is substantially deeper than typical commercial lockers at 12"-18" deep. The added depth provides more interior room for bulky PPE, work boots, and equipment that would not fit in a standard locker.
♦ All-welded vs. assembled construction: Welded construction eliminates the loosening, racking, and hinge misalignment that develop in assembled lockers under heavy daily use. Strong Hold's all-welded frame maintains door alignment and structural rigidity throughout the unit's service life without periodic re-tightening or adjustment.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ Industrial Facility Locker Rooms: Manufacturing plants, fabrication shops, and processing facilities where workers need secure storage for tools, PPE, and personal belongings between shifts, in lockers that withstand daily heavy use without structural degradation.
♦ Maintenance Department Locker Areas: Maintenance technicians often store heavy tool sets, work boots, coveralls, and specialty equipment in their assigned lockers. The 775-pound shelf rating and 12-gauge construction handle loads that commercial lockers structurally fail to support.
♦ Warehouses and Distribution Centers: High-traffic facilities where multiple shifts share locker areas and lockers are used constantly by workers in heavy boots, carrying tools and personal equipment, benefit from industrial-grade construction over lighter commercial alternatives.
♦ Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Facilities: Environments where workers arrive with substantial personal protective equipment, specialized tools, and gear that must be secured and protected during shifts in demanding industrial conditions.
♦ Government, Military, and Institutional Facilities: Applications where locker durability, security, and long-term structural integrity are required under heavy use by a large rotating workforce, and where the replacement cost and disruption of failed commercial lockers is not acceptable.
♦ Schools, Vocational Programs, and Training Facilities: Technical schools and trade programs where students store tools and equipment require lockers that handle heavier contents than standard school lockers and maintain structural integrity through years of institutional use.
