The MECO SF3-3608 Structural Pallet Rack Upright Frame is a rigid, all-welded upright built for heavy-duty pallet rack systems in warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial storage areas. This frame measures 36 inches deep by 8 feet tall and uses a 3-inch structural steel channel to deliver high strength and long-term durability in demanding environments. With a 2-inch punch pattern, it supports flexible beam placement so you can fine-tune shelf levels as inventory, pallet heights, and storage strategies change.

Depth selection matters too, because pallet overhang supports safe handling and protects loads. As a reference, a 48-inch deep pallet commonly pairs with a 42-inch deep upright to allow about 3 inches of overhang in front and 3 inches in back. For capacity planning, upright systems can support up to 34,800 pounds per bay when configured with 60-inch vertical beam spacing or less, with final capacity depending on beams, spacing, and the full rack design
