The Hallowell 5720-12 Hi-Tech 5-Shelf Tool Crib Shelving is designed for facilities that need strong shelving plus better control of stored items. Unlike open shelving, this is a closed starter unit with back and side panels ideal for tool cribs, maintenance areas, and stockrooms where you want cleaner organization, improved containment, and a more finished, secure feel.

Hallowell Hi-Tech shelves are built for real industrial use: each heavy-duty metal shelf features a tubular, welded box-beam front and rear for maximum strength, exclusive triple-bend side flanges for added rigidity, and lapped & welded corners for durability. The shelf surface is also punched to accept shelf dividers, making it easy to create assigned locations and keep tools, parts, and supplies separated and easy to inventory.

Installation is efficient: each shelf mounts using only four shelf clips. The system works with beaded front and angled back posts, and is also compatible with T-posts and H-posts, giving you flexibility for standard shelving layouts and more complex crib configurations. Posts are punched on 1-1/2" centers, so shelf heights can be adjusted precisely to fit changing storage needs.
