The Hallowell 4521-18 Hi-Tech 6-Shelf Tool Crib Shelving (Closed Starter Unit) is designed for demanding environments that require heavy-duty capacity, organized storage, and a contained, professional install. With included side and back panels, this unit is a strong fit for tool cribs, maintenance shops, warehouses, and stockrooms—helping keep equipment, parts, and supplies secure and neatly contained.
Each shelf is engineered for real-world loads with a tubular welded box beam (front and rear) for maximum strength and sag resistance. Hallowell’s exclusive triple-bend side flanges increase rigidity, while lapped and welded cornersreinforce stress points for long-term durability. Shelves are punched to accept shelf dividers for cleaner organization (dividers sold separately if applicable). Setup is efficient—each shelf installs with only four shelf clips —and the system supports multiple post configurations, including beaded front and angle back posts, plus compatibility with T-posts and H-posts for different layouts.
With 18" deep shelves, you get more usable storage than 12" units without reaching full bulk depth—ideal for toolboxes, parts bins, and boxed inventory.
