The Hallowell 4513-18PL-AM MedSafe Antimicrobial Starter Shelving pairs the proven versatility of Hallowell’s Hi-Tech shelving system with an antimicrobial powder-coat finish designed for cleaner, higher-traffic environments. This is a strong choice for schools, nurses’ offices, clinics, labs, athletic departments, and facility storage areas where moisture, frequent handling, or infection-control practices make surface protection a priority.

Finished in 711 Platinum, the antimicrobial powder coat is designed to help protect coated surfaces against microbes such as bacteria, mold, and mildew, with manufacturer-stated protection lasting up to 20 years. A seven-stage zinc/iron phosphate wash helps inhibit corrosion before the coating is applied, and the finish is sprayed and baked at 350°F for a minimum of 20 minutes for a tough, durable result.

With an 18" shelf depth, you get more usable storage space than 12" units while staying efficient for supply rooms and back-of-house areas. As a starter unit, it begins a shelving row—add-on units can extend the run as your storage needs grow.
