The Hallowell 451C-18PL-AM MedSafe Antimicrobial Starter Shelving is built for facilities that need high-density storage with a finish designed for cleaner environments. It blends the configurable strength of the Hi-Tech shelving platform with the antimicrobial powder-coat protection found in the MedSafe line—making it ideal for schools, clinics, labs, nurses’ offices, athletic departments, and shared storage areas where infection control and moisture-related issues are real concerns.
Finished in 711 Platinum, this unit features an antimicrobial powder-coat finish intended to help protect coated surfaces against microbes such as bacteria, mold, and mildew, with manufacturer-stated performance lasting up to 20 years. Components are prepped using a seven-stage zinc/iron phosphate cleaning process to inhibit corrosion, then coated with a high-grade antimicrobial powder and baked at 350°F for a minimum of 20 minutes to create a durable, long-lasting finish.
With 11 shelf levels and a roomier 18" depth, you get extra usable surface area for cartons, supplies, equipment, and organized bins—without moving up to full bulk-depth shelving. As a starter unit, it begins a shelving row; add-on units can extend the run as your storage needs grow.
