The Hallowell 451C-24PL-AM MedSafe Antimicrobial Starter Shelving is built for facilities that need maximum shelf depth, high-density storage, and a finish designed for cleaner environments. It combines the proven versatility of the Hi-Tech shelving platform with the antimicrobial powder-coat qualities found in the MedSafe line—making it ideal for schools, clinics, labs, nurses’ offices, athletic departments, and high-traffic storage rooms where infection control and moisture-related issues can be a concern.
Finished in 711 Platinum, this shelving features an antimicrobial powder-coat finish intended to help protect coated surfaces against microbes such as bacteria, mold, and mildew, with manufacturer-stated performance lasting up to 20 years. Before coating, all components go through a seven-stage zinc/iron phosphate cleaning process to inhibit corrosion. The antimicrobial powder is then sprayed and baked at 350°F for at least 20 minutes to create a tough, durable finish built for daily use.
With 24" deep shelves and 11 shelf levels, this unit maximizes usable storage for bulk supplies, cartons, equipment, and organized inventory bins—while keeping a clean, professional look. As a starter unit, it begins a shelving row; add-on units can extend the run as your storage needs grow.
