The Hallowell 471C-12PL-AM MedSafe Antimicrobial Lab Shelving is designed for high-density, open-access storage in environments where cleanliness and durability matter. It combines the versatile Hi-Tech shelving platform with the antimicrobial powder-coat protection used in Hallowell’s MedSafe line—making it a strong choice for labs, clinics, schools, nurses’ offices, athletic departments, and shared facility storage where infection control and moisture-related concerns can be a factor.

Finished in 711 Platinum, the antimicrobial powder coat is intended to help protect coated surfaces against microbes such as bacteria, mold, and mildew, with manufacturer-stated performance lasting up to 20 years. Components are prepped using a seven-stage zinc/iron phosphate cleaning process to inhibit corrosion, then coated with a high-grade antimicrobial powder and baked at 350°F for a minimum of 20 minutes for a tough, durable finish built for daily use.

With a wide 48" shelf span, space-saving 12" depth, and 11 shelf levels, this unit maximizes storage per square foot—ideal for organized supplies, lab consumables, cartons, and inventory bins. As a starter unit, it begins a shelving row; add-on units can extend the run as your storage needs grow.
