Wire Shelving Systems

Industrial Wire Shelving construction promotes higher visibility, allows light to pass through the shelves, and permits greater air circulation. This design helps reduce moisture and dust build-up and increases the effectiveness of fire suppression systems. Leveling feet are provided to compensate for uneven floor surfaces, ensuring the shelving unit remains stable and secure.

Each unit comes with four or five wire shelves and four posts, shipped knocked down to save on freight costs. Assembly is fast and easy, using numerically calibrated grooved posts, tapered plastic split sleeves, and shelf collars in a straightforward two-step process: snap the split sleeves onto a post at the desired height, then slide a shelf collar over the split sleeves to create a positive lock between the shelf and post without needing any tools.

Metro's Super Adjustable Super Erecta line uses a unique shelf design and SiteSelect Posts, enabling tool-free, quick adjustment at 1-inch increments along the entire height of the post. Wire shelves adjust on 1-inch centers, and shelf clips are included with each shelf.

Selecting the Right Type:

♦ Environment: choose Zinc or Chrome for dry, low-humidity areas, Metroseal or Metroban antimicrobial finishes for wet or high-humidity areas, or Stainless Steel for the harshest environments.
♦ Adjustability: choose Super Adjustable Super Erecta for tool-free shelf height changes along the full post, or standard Super Erecta for numerically calibrated fixed positions.
♦ Height: choose 63" or 74" tall units based on ceiling clearance and storage capacity needs.
