WireCrafters RackBack Safety Panel 8' x 5' BACK85 for Pallet Racks

WireCrafters RackBack pallet rack backing panels add a wire mesh barrier to the rear of pallet rack bays. The panel bolts directly to existing uprights, forming a secure backstop behind stored pallets and cartons. Model BACK85 measures 8 feet wide by 5 feet high and is designed for rack bays using 96-inch beams. The open mesh pattern maintains visibility and supports sprinkler water flow. Each panel weighs 44 pounds and comes in a standard gray finish.

Pallet rack guarding safety panels help reduce the risk of product falling into aisles or work zones. RackBack panels support safer picking and replenishment by limiting load shift toward pedestrian and equipment traffic. This added rear barrier can reduce damage to lift trucks and nearby storage systems. Because the panels bolt to existing uprights, installation typically fits into planned maintenance or rack upgrades. For freight planning, palletizing is charged at $90.00 per 1,000 pounds.

Standard sized panels 4'-0" or 5'-0" high, match beam length in width. Panels made of 2" x 2" x 10 gauge welded wire mesh. Flat steel stiffeners welded behind mesh for extra rigidity. Pallet Rack Backing Panels attach directly to rack with mounting brackets. Offset brackets allow for load to overhang rack beams. Stack RackBack® panels one on top of the other to reach desired height. Angle frame design gives installer clear access to hardware, speeding installation. Assembly hardware is inaccessible from the exterior of the partition. Standard 3/8" assembly hardware is the heaviest in the industry. RackBack® Pallet Rack Backing System may be started at the floor or at any level where protection is required. Pallet rack backing panels can be mounted to support posts-if stand alone system desired. Heavier options available.
