Bishamon LVE Series Battery-Powered Skid Lifts

Bishamon LVE-Series Battery Powered Skid Lift

Bishamon LVE Series Battery-Powered Skid Lifts | Captured Roller Stability, 3.3" to 32.8" Travel

The Bishamon LVE Series is the battery-powered counterpart to the manual LV-Series fork-style pallet positioner. An onboard electric motor replaces the manual hydraulic pump, providing push-button lift operation for raising open-bottom pallets and skids from a near-floor-level position (3.3" lowered) to a maximum working height of 32.8". The electric lift eliminates manual pumping effort, making the LVE suited to high-frequency applications and heavier loads where pump fatigue would accumulate over multi-shift use.

A key feature of the LVE Series is the captured roller stability system, which guides the pallet during lifting and prevents unwanted shifting or tilting as the load is raised. This provides more controlled, stable lifting than a standard open-fork skid lift, particularly for loads that are not perfectly centered or that have uneven weight distribution.

Four models are available in a 2x2 configuration: two capacity tiers (1,100 lb and 2,200 lb) and two fork widths (20.5" and 27.0"). All models use 42.5" long forks and share the same 3.3" to 32.8" travel range. The W suffix indicates the wide fork option.

Models and Specifications:

♦ LVE-50E, 20.5" W, 42.5" L forks. Travel 3.3" to 32.8". Capacity 1,100 lbs. Battery-powered. Standard fork width, lower capacity tier.

♦ LVE-50WE, 27.0" W, 42.5" L forks. Travel 3.3" to 32.8". Capacity 1,100 lbs. Battery-powered. Wide-fork option, lower-capacity tier.

♦ LVE-100E, 20.5" W, 42.5" L forks. Travel 3.3" to 32.8". Capacity 2,200 lbs. Battery-powered. Standard fork width, higher capacity tier.

♦ LVE-100WE, 27.0" W, 42.5" L forks. Travel 3.3" to 32.8". Capacity 2,200 lbs. Battery-powered. Wide-fork option, higher-capacity tier.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Capacity, 1,100 lb vs. 2,200 lb, the LVE-50E and LVE-50WE handle up to 1,100 lbs. The LVE-100E and LVE-100WE handle up to 2,200 lbs. Select a model rated comfortably above the maximum expected load weight.

♦ Fork width, 20.5" (standard) vs. 27.0" (W suffix), choose the fork width that fits within the entry opening of the pallets or skids being handled. The 27.0" wide forks provide greater lateral load stability for wider pallets and are required when the load width benefits from a broader fork spread.

♦ Battery-powered vs. manual LV-Series, the LVE models are the electric counterparts to the manual LV-10, LV-10W, LV-100, and LV-100W. Capacity tiers and fork widths are identical. Choose battery-powered for high-frequency applications or heavier loads where eliminating manual pump effort is a priority. Choose manual for lower-cycle applications where the added cost of the electric mechanism is not justified.

♦ Captured roller system consideration, the stability benefit of the captured roller system is most relevant for loads that are unevenly distributed, soft-stacked, or otherwise prone to shifting during lifting. If load stability during lift is a concern in the application, the LVE Series provides greater control than a standard open-fork skid lift at the same travel range.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ High-Cycle Palletized Order Picking: order-picking operations cycling pallet loads repeatedly throughout a shift use the LVE Series for battery-powered lifts that eliminate pump fatigue at high repetition rates, while the captured roller system keeps the load stable during the lift and lower cycles between picks.

♦ Assembly and Kitting from Palletized Components: assembly and kitting operations that deliver components on open-bottom pallets to the assembly position use the electric lift to quickly and consistently bring the pallet to working height between production cycles, without manual pumping effort during multi-shift production.

♦ Staging and Inbound Freight Positioning, receiving and staging operations handling inbound open-bottom pallets use the LVE for electric lift to staging height with the captured roller system providing additional stability for loads that may be unevenly packed or soft-stacked after transit.

♦ Packaging and Packing Station Supply, packaging lines using the LVE to stage palletized cartons and materials at the packing station use the battery-powered lift to bring each pallet to working height as it is consumed, keeping the supply position at a consistent ergonomic level throughout the packing shift.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are Bishamon LVE skid lift tables designed for?
Bishamon LVE skid lift tables are battery-powered lift solutions designed to handle open-bottom skids and pallets. They raise loads to an ergonomic working height, allowing operators to work comfortably without constant bending or reaching. These lifts are ideal for fast-paced warehouse and production environments where materials need frequent access. They help create a safer and more efficient workflow from start to finish.
How do Bishamon LVE lifts improve ergonomics in daily operations?
These lift tables raise pallet loads to the operator rather than requiring the operator to lower to the load. That simple change helps reduce fatigue, back strain, and repetitive stress during picking, packing, or assembly. Workers maintain a more natural posture, improving comfort during long shifts. The result is smoother work and fewer interruptions caused by physical strain.
What applications are best suited for the LVE series?
The Bishamon LVE series is commonly used in order picking, assembly lines, packaging stations, and material staging areas. It works especially well in areas where employees need to add or remove items from skids throughout the day. Because the unit is battery-powered, it can be moved easily between work zones without requiring a fixed power connection. It is a strong fit for operations that require both mobility and precision lifting.
What makes Bishamon LVE skid lifts different from standard lift tables?
Unlike traditional stationary lift tables, the LVE models are designed specifically for skid and pallet access, with open-bottom compatibility. Their battery-powered operation provides flexibility while still delivering consistent lifting performance. Bishamon is known for its durable construction and reliable lift systems that withstand demanding industrial use. This combination makes the LVE series a practical upgrade for facilities focused on productivity and safety.
How do these lifts help improve productivity and workflow?
By keeping materials at the right working height, operators can move faster and more accurately through tasks such as picking and assembly. Time is not wasted on manual load adjustments or on working in awkward positions. The controlled lift action also supports more stable handling of products, reducing errors and damage. Over time, these improvements add up to a more efficient and dependable process.
