Lift Products Manual MML-Series Scissor Lift Cart

Lift Products MML-Series Manual Scissor Lift Carts | Standard, Double Scissor, and XL Platforms

The Lift Products MML-Series (Maxx-Mini Lifter) is a line of manual hydraulic scissor lift carts covering a wide range of capacities, platform sizes, and lift heights for warehouse, production, assembly, and distribution environments. The platform rises via a foot-pump hydraulic mechanism and lowers via a controlled-release handle. Heavy-duty casters allow the loaded cart to be repositioned throughout the facility. All models are designed for daily use in active material handling operations.

Ten models are available in three configuration types. Standard single-scissor models (MML-15, 25, 50, 75, 100) offer capacities ranging from 330 to 2,200 lbs and maximum lift heights from 30" to 39". Double-scissor models (MML-30D, MML-50D) provide maximum lift heights up to 62" for applications requiring greater vertical travel. Extended platform XL models (MML-100XL, MML-50XLN, MML-50XLW) provide larger platform footprints up to 31.5" x 60" for loads that exceed the footprint of the standard platform.

Selection Guide:

♦ Configuration type, choose standard single-scissor (MML-15 through MML-100) for typical ergonomic lifting to bench, conveyor, or table height in the 30" to 39" range. Choose double-scissor (MML-30D or MML-50D) when the maximum lift height required exceeds 39"; both double-scissor models reach 62". Choose an XL model (MML-100XL, MML-50XLN, MML-50XLW) when the load footprint exceeds the 20.5" x 39.75" standard platform.

♦ Capacity, the MML-15 handles 330 lbs. The MML-25 handles 550 lbs. The MML-30D, MML-50XLN, and MML-50XLW handle 660 to 1,100 lbs. The MML-50 and MML-50D handle 1,100 lbs. The MML-75 handles 1,650 lbs. The MML-100 handles 2,200 lbs, the highest capacity in the series. The MML-100XL handles 2,000 lbs on its extended platform. Select a model rated comfortably above the actual load weight.

♦ Platform size: The standard platform (most models) is 20.5" wide x 39.75" long. The MML-100XL and MML-50XLW both use a 31.5" wide platform (47.25" or 47.3" long). The MML-50XLN uses a 24.5" wide x 60" long platform -- the longest in the series. Match the platform to the load footprint.

♦ Maximum lift height, standard single-scissor models reach 30" to 39" maximum. The MML-50XLN reaches 43.3," and the MML-50XLW reaches 46.8", higher than the standard single-scissor models due to the XL scissor geometry. The MML-100XL reaches 48". The double-scissor MML-30D and MML-50D both reach 62", substantially higher than any single-scissor or XL model.

♦ Minimum height (lowered position), most models lower to the 10" to 17" range. The MML-50XLW lowers to 14.5" and the MML-50XLN to 15.8". Verify the lowered height is compatible with the load source before ordering.

♦ Double-scissor vs. standard for height: the MML-30D and MML-50D share the same 20.5" x 39.75" platform as the standard models but use a double-scissor mechanism to reach a 62" maximum height, approximately 23" higher than comparable single-scissor models. Choose these when greater vertical travel is needed without increasing the platform footprint.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Order Picking and Distribution, distribution operations use MML-Series carts to elevate totes, cases, and boxes to pick height and transport them between pick faces and packing stations, reducing stooped picking posture and improving throughput at pick-and-pack operations.

♦ Assembly Line Parts Delivery, assembly lines use MML-Series carts to deliver parts and subassemblies to the exact working height of the assembly position, positioning the load at arm level for the operator and reducing bending during repetitive assembly cycles.

♦ Conveyor Loading and Unloading, packing and shipping areas use the MML-Series to raise loads to conveyor height for smooth transfers without manual lifting, with the double-scissor models (MML-30D, MML-50D) suited for higher conveyor installations.

♦ Die Handling and Heavy Part Positioning, stamping and fabrication operations use the higher-capacity MML-75 and MML-100 models to transport and position heavy dies, fixtures, and tooling at machine height, reducing manual handling strain during die changes and setup operations.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Lift Products MML-Series manual scissor lift cart?
The Lift Products MML-Series is a manual scissor lift cart designed for ergonomic lifting and mobile material handling. It provides a stable platform that can be raised to improve working height while still moving easily on casters. These carts are built for everyday use in warehouses, production, and industrial workspaces.
How does the MML-Series manual lift system operate?
The platform is raised using a foot-pump hydraulic mechanism and lowered with a controlled release handle. This allows operators to position loads at the right height for safer transfers and easier handling. The manual system is simple, dependable, and effective for frequent daily lifting tasks.
What are common uses for MML-Series lift carts?
MML-Series carts are commonly used for assembly support, packaging, parts handling, shipping stations, and general material movement. They help transfer items between benches, conveyors, and staging areas without heavy manual lifting. They also serve well as mobile work platforms for organizing tools and supplies.
Why choose the MML-Series over standard utility carts?
Unlike a basic cart, the MML-Series adds height adjustment, reducing the need for workers to bend or lift awkwardly. This improves efficiency during loading, unloading, and workstation transfers. It’s a practical upgrade for operations focused on ergonomics and productivity.
How do MML-Series carts improve workplace safety and comfort?
By raising loads to an ergonomic level, these carts reduce strain on the back, shoulders, and knees. Controlled lifting and lowering also helps prevent sudden shifts or unstable transfers. This results in safer handling, less fatigue, and smoother daily workflow.
What should I consider when selecting an MML-Series manual lift cart?
Key factors include weight capacity, lift height range, platform size, and how often the cart will be used throughout the day. You should also evaluate caster quality, braking features, and the type of environment the cart will operate in. Choosing the right model ensures long-term performance and ergonomic support.
