The Lift Products Maxx-Jack MJ55 is a heavy-duty manual hydraulic pallet truck rated at 5,500 lbs for transporting palletized loads across warehouse floors, loading docks, and staging areas. The high-quality pump includes a built-in overload valve that prevents lifting beyond rated capacity and is operated by the control lever's three positions: lift, lower, and neutral, for straightforward one-handed control. Fork travel is 2.9" to 8".

Forks are reinforced with gussets to prevent spreading under heavy loads over time, a common failure point on less robust pallet trucks. Entry and exit rollers are built in for easy pallet engagement from the front or rear. Adjustable push rods maintain proper fork alignment throughout the truck's service life, even after years of use. Seven-inch dual nylon casters minimize flat spotting during extended inactivity and offer low rolling resistance under load.

Two models are available, both with a 5,500 lb capacity and at the same price. The only difference is fork width.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Fork width, 20.5" vs. 27": The MJ55-N48 uses 20.5" wide forks for standard GMA pallet entry openings. The MJ55-W48 uses 27" wide forks for pallets with wider entry openings or where the broader fork spread provides better lateral load stability. Both models are priced identically. Choose based on the pallet entry opening width in your operation.

♦ Overload valve: The built-in overload valve prevents the truck from lifting loads that exceed the 5,500 lb rating. This is a safety feature that protects both the equipment and the operator in operations where loads vary and may occasionally approach maximum capacity.

♦ Gusseted fork durability: the gussets that reinforce the forks against spreading are a long-term durability feature. On standard-grade pallet trucks, fork spread is a common wear failure that requires fork replacement or whole-truck replacement.
