Vestil DC Powered Aluminum Quick Lifts

Vestil DC Powered Aluminum Quick Lifts

Vestil DC Powered Aluminum Quick Lifts | Lightweight Frame, Dual AGM Battery, 57"–72" Reach

The Vestil DC-Powered Aluminum Quick Lifts are the aluminum-frame counterpart to the Vestil DC-Powered Steel Quick Lifts (PEL-S series). The same dual 12V AGM battery system, 115V onboard charger, HDPE platform, 9" horizontal load center, poly caster configuration, and optional upgrades apply. The distinction is the frame material: the aluminum construction makes these units lighter than the steel models, reducing the effort required to maneuver the lift between workstations and through narrow aisles.

Two models are available, both at the same platform size (23-1/2" wide x 18-1/2" long) and differing only in capacity and maximum service height. Both lower to 5-1/2". The same optional upgrades available on the steel models, Programmable Height Indexing, detachable handheld control with coil cord, and custom end attachments, are available on the aluminum models.

Models and Specifications:

♦ PEL-88A-D3, 23-1/2" W, 18-1/2" L HDPE platform. Service range 5-1/2" to 57". Capacity 175 lbs. Aluminum frame. Dual 12V AGM batteries, 115V onboard charger. Four poly casters (two swivel, two swivel-locking). The higher-capacity model at this platform size. Note: higher capacity than the PEL-100A-D3 despite the lower model number.

♦ PEL-100A-D3, 23-1/2" W, 18-1/2" L HDPE platform. Service range 5-1/2" to 72". Capacity 125 lbs. Aluminum frame. Dual 12V AGM batteries, 115V onboard charger. Four poly casters (two swivel, two swivel-locking). Reaches 72" maximum, the greater height of the two aluminum models. Note: lower capacity (125 lb) than the PEL-88A-D3 (175 lb).

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Capacity, 175 lb vs. 125 lb, the PEL-88A-D3 handles 175 lbs and reaches 57" maximum. The PEL-100A-D3 handles 125 lbs and reaches 72" maximum. These are counterintuitive; the lower model number (88) has a higher capacity than the higher number (100). Select the combination of capacity and height that best matches the application.

♦ Aluminum vs. steel frame: choose the aluminum model when the unit will be frequently moved between workstations, as its lighter weight reduces transport effort. For applications where the lift remains in one location and a higher-capacity 400 lb option is needed, the Vestil DC-Powered Steel Quick Lifts (PEL-400S series) are the appropriate choice.

♦ Optional Programmable Height Indexing and remote control, the same optional upgrades available on the steel models apply here. If presetting heights or remote operation is needed, call 866-333-0728 to order with these options.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Multi-Station Workflows Requiring Frequent Movement, operations moving the lift between multiple workstations throughout the shift use the aluminum frame for its lighter weight during transport, reducing the effort needed to navigate the unit through narrow aisles and between work cells.

♦ Packing and Kitting Station Ergonomic Positioning, packing and kitting stations where operators access loads repeatedly at a consistent working height use the aluminum Quick Lift for push-button electric positioning with the same HDPE platform and caster configuration as the steel models at lower unit weight.

♦ Maintenance and Light Assembly Parts Positioning, maintenance departments and light assembly areas positioning parts, tools, and equipment up to 175 lb at elevated service heights, use the aluminum models for portable electric lift without the additional weight of the steel frame.

♦ Facilities Prioritizing Easy Maneuverability, facilities where operators frequently reposition lifts during the shift use the aluminum Quick Lift when the lighter frame weight makes a meaningful practical difference in the ease of moving the unit across open floor areas.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are Vestil DC-powered aluminum Quick Lifts used for?
Vestil DC-powered aluminum Quick Lifts are lightweight electric material lifters designed to raise and position loads with minimal effort. They are commonly used to lift bins, totes, equipment, or palletized goods to ergonomic working heights. Because they run on battery power, operators can move and lift without being tethered to an electrical outlet. These lifters are ideal for environments where mobility, ease of use, and frequent height adjustment are priorities.
How does battery-powered lifting improve ergonomics and comfort?
Battery-powered lifting eliminates the need for manual pumping, reducing bending, reaching, and physical strain. Operators simply press a button to raise or lower loads, helping maintain better posture throughout the workday. This reduces fatigue and supports safer handling practices. Over time, powered lifting contributes to steadier productivity and fewer ergonomic injuries.
What makes the aluminum frame design valuable?
An aluminum frame keeps these Quick Lifts lightweight and easy to maneuver without sacrificing strength. This makes them practical for facilities that need to move lifters between workstations or across open warehouse floors. The lighter build also reduces operator effort during transport and positioning. If mobility and ease of handling are important, the aluminum design delivers.
Where do Vestil aluminum Quick Lifts perform best?
These electric lifters perform well in warehouses, production lines, distribution centers, and packing or assembly areas. Their mobility and ergonomic lift range make them especially useful in zones where items are accessed repeatedly throughout the day. They work well in compact spaces and high-traffic areas where larger, bulkier lifts aren’t practical. Any operation focused on flexible, powered lifting can benefit from these units.
How do these lifts support productivity and workflow efficiency?
Keeping materials at the right working height reduces wasted motion and speeds up repetitive tasks. Operators can lift and position loads quickly and consistently, which improves throughput. Controlled electric lifting also enhances load stability and reduces handling errors. Over time, these benefits create a smoother workflow and better overall performance.
